The chapter features a crossover with ''Magic Kaito'' by [[Kaito Kuroba]] and [[Aoko Nakamori]] appearing, since they go to the same school as [[Momoko Aoyama]], the [[Ekoda High School]]. This story also happens on [[Valentine's Day]], making it happen concurrently to "The Scarlet Temptress" (MK Manga: [[Magic Kaito Volume 1#The Scarlet Temptress|6]], MK Special: [[A Witch Sheds No Tears|4]], MK1412: [[A Temptation in Scarlet|5]]), where Momoko in turn also appears (and gets mentioned in the [[TV Specials#Magic Kaito|TV special]]). With this chapter [[Gosho Aoyama]] confirmed that both series share a universe and that Momoko, Kaito and Aoko are in the same class, the 2-B of [[Erika Konno]].
