The "Bearded guy with sunglasses" was '''Hitoshi Yuda''' in a disguise, and '''Maya Tachibana''' was a hitwoman that he hired to kill Kogoro for "revealing" him as the killer of his wife. She lost her memories when she got involved in a traffic accident and hit her head; midway through the episode she recovered it, specially after Yuda kept trying to kill Kogoro himself; Maya then decided to pretend she was still amnesiac, both to set the deal with Yuda and then finish her mission of killing Kogoro.

Maya's weapon was a strong floss, which she used to strangle her victims; she managed to trap Kogoro and use the floss to hang him in a makeshift gallow.

For an astronomical observation, Conan and the group went to a pension deep inside the mountain. Other than the pension owner, there were also other three people in the pension: the fiancee of the person who invited the three, and the two magazine staff. As they went to the nearby hill to see the stars, they saw decayed bones and underneath a rock nearby, they found a box of cigarettes and a ring which implies he was the missing fiance. That same night, the other man from the magazine staff was killed and left another dying message.

After Conan, Haibara, Detective Boys, and Professor Agasa realizes that the dying message was referring to Hajime Futagawa's initials and thus making him as the prime suspect, they decided to confront him. But he went missing so as the other suspects. While they were searching at the woods, they later found Futagawa's body on the ground dead. On his hand, another pack of cigarette was found. This time, it contains seven. They also found a cellphone with a will on it, confessing Futagawa's crime and decided to commit suicide. Conan realizes that he didn't commit suicide and the seven cigarette was a clue to the real murderer. So they decided to search to each one's rooms and belongings to find the murder weapon. While looking through the guestbook, Conan finally manage to find out the real culprit behind the murders.

The real person who invited the three was proven to be '''Ryoji Amatsuchi''', the pension owner. He did that because he wanted to find the person who murdered Kono, as he already found his bones and belongings before. He also hid the cable to the phone to disable communication, and also deflated the tires to trap everyone in the pension. However, he wasn't also the murderer, but was '''Heihachi Mikami''' who killed both Kono and Futagawa. He killed Kono because he refused to include his name to the comet that Kono found after asking his help to confirm if it was a new discovery or not. He killed Futagawa after he tried to threatened him that if he didn't pay up 50,000,000, he would surely reveal the crime he committed. Mikami then unveils the weapon he used to kill Futagawa, that turned out to be a shotgun. He attempts to kill all the inn guests but is tranquilized by Conan.

At the end of the episode, when Conan and the Detective Boys are taken to the police station for questioning, Conan reveals the real meaning Kono doesn't add Mikami's name to the comet he found because he wants to make the word 'Amanogawa'.

Doctor Yokoto Owada of the Beika Central Hospital wins the third place prize at a raffle. The raffle makes it his third winning of the week. When Conan returns home, he discovers that the one year supply of beer that Doctor Owada won is a lie because the draw didn't start yet. The next day, the Detective Boys find out the raffle had been fixed by a tall and slender woman posing as the doctor's wife and when walking down the streets, they overhear gossip of the doctor's other made up winnings.

After the Bell Tree Express incident, Sonoko invites Ran, Kogoro, and Conan to a camp site where she is learning tennis, because she got a text from Makoto holding a racquet. Conan, glad to be leaving the Mouri Detective Agency for a spell after learning Amuro is Bourbon (being near him would be awkward now,) finds out he is Sonoko's tennis teacher. Amuro tries to warn Conan that a racquet is about to hit him, but it impacts his head resulting in a concussion. Amuro applies immediate first aid, and Conan recuperates at the cabin of Machi Umejima and her friend Kotone Momozono, the girl whose racquet went flying and hit Conan. As Machi and Kotone treats Conan's party, there is an obvious animosity between Noboru Takanashi and Saburou Ishiguri, two other friends and classmates. It stems from the untimely death of their friend Uriu. When Conan wakes up, he finds the room overwhelmingly hot and Saburou dead from blunt force trauma to his head.

As Conan was about to tranquilize Kogoro, Amuro looked through his lens and asked what was he doing. Conan, not wanting Bourbon to realize who he really is, instead manipulated everyone's attention to the culprit: '''Kotone Momozono'''. Kotone hid a spare key to the room in a bottle of a frozen sports drink, had it thaw a bit, then used it to commit the murder. She used the still melting ice of the hard bottle to move his body in front of the door. She did it because Uriu, who was an easily emotional guy, would've been afraid to go in the snow. But Saburou made a joke about the snow Uriu took seriously, and died. At first, Kotone thought Saburou's frantic digging in the snow was from disbelief a friend died. But he was retrieving the scarf Uriu worn, as it was evidence he was forced over and didn't simply jump.

Later that night, Bourbon give Vermouth a call, saying the case was solved but is staying around little longer. When she asks him why, he says the Sleeping Kogoro has caught his interest (while thinking of Conan, hinting he knows Conan is behind the Sleeping Kogoro persona.)

After explaining something about Haibara and Professor, Amuro appears to give reasoning about the previous case at the HQ too. Sato becomes anxious about the Takagi's secret and threatening Chiba who was observing Takagi last night. He tells that he got yelled by Takagi after telling that the sticker coming out from Takagi's notebook is Sato's picture on it. After Detective Boys have sent the present, Sato opens it and found a tablet PC where there is a video letter in it. It shows Takagi is bandaged and lied on a wood. Sato informs Inspector Megure about this and discusses about the planning of this case. Conan pours some idea but later Superintendent Matsumoto arrives to give some orders. Sato then starts a questioning to Detective Boys to investigate the case. Chiba who was ordered to continue observing the tablet PC found that Takagi is adjusting position on the wood and likely want to suicide. However, Conan explains that Takagi is dropping his cop notebook to give a clue to someone down the highrise. Lastly, Conan discusses with Sato about a case related to this case.

After the Bell Tree Express incident, Sonoko invites Ran, Kogoro, and Conan to a camp site where she is learning tennis, because she got a text from Makoto holding a racquet. Conan, glad to be leaving the Mouri Detective Agency for a spell after learning Amuro is Bourbon (being near him would be awkward now,) finds out he is Sonoko's tennis teacher. Amuro tries to warn Conan that a racquet is about to hit him, but it impacts his head resulting in a concussion. Amuro applies immediate first aid, and Conan recuperates at the cabin of Machi Umejima and her friend Kotone Momozono, the girl whose racquet went flying and hit Conan. As Machi and Kotone treats Conan's party, there is an obvious animosity between Noboru Takanashi and Saburou Ishiguri, two other friends and classmates. It stems from the untimely death of their friend Uriu. When Conan wakes up, he finds the room overwhelmingly hot and Saburou dead from blunt force trauma to his head.

As Conan was about to tranquilize Kogoro, Amuro looked through his lens and asked what was he doing. Conan, not wanting Bourbon to realize who he really is, instead manipulated everyone's attention to the culprit: '''Kotone Momozono'''. Kotone hid a spare key to the room in a bottle of a frozen sports drink, had it thaw a bit, then used it to commit the murder. She used the still melting ice of the hard bottle to move his body in front of the door. She did it because Uriu, who was an easily emotional guy, would've been afraid to go in the snow. But Saburou made a joke about the snow Uriu took seriously, and died. At first, Kotone thought Saburou's frantic digging in the snow was from disbelief a friend died. But he was retrieving the scarf Uriu worn, as it was evidence he was forced over and didn't simply jump.

Later that night, Bourbon give Vermouth a call, saying the case was solved but is staying around little longer. When she asks him why, he says the Sleeping Kogoro has caught his interest (while thinking of Conan, hinting he knows Conan is behind the Sleeping Kogoro persona.)

Sonoko has taken Ran and Conan to the "Candy House", in there, Conan meets a group of three masters who make pastries and puddings: Tsuyoshi Maeda the "Iron Pastry" Chief, Yasuo Fujino the "Prince of Pastries", and Yumi Morimoto the "Candy Magician"; they have tasted the things that the three of them have made, which are very delicious. However, Morimoto had a quarrel with their manager, Sachiko Hashigaki in front of them. Then, after a while, they suddenly hear a scream. When everyone has gone to see what is happening, they see the pitiful sight of Hashigaki who has been beaten to death, and must solve the mystery of the murder.

Kogoro receives tickets to the grand opening of the Mirapolis complex and is unwittingly forced to take along Ran, Conan, and the Detective Boys. At the opening speech, tensions run high as the Mirapolis staff begin to let their past with the owner get the better of themselves. Soon after, Conan and Ai discover a body by the Mirapolis's pool. With a little help from Heiji, it's up to Conan to solve the murder and prevent anything else from happening.

== Gameplay ==

Players control Conan who can either walk, run, or skateboard around the many hallways and rooms of the Mirapolis complex. Players need to gather information by talking to various people within the building which is then written down in a notebook for future reference. Once enough information is gathered, Conan can begin to piece together the truth by creating "links" and forming "clue chains". Perfect scoring during the game helps unlock bonus features like artwork.

For the player's convenience traveling around the Mirapolis is made easier by a handy teleportation option by selecting a floor from the in-game menu's map. This map also informs the player as to which characters are currently located on that floor.

The Mirapolis is home to a large arcade in its lower levels allowing the player to play mini-games including a version of Whack-a-Mole and an arcade shooter. Players can also try playing curling in the Mirapolis' ice rink.

The English release of the game has an option to change the audio back to its original Japanese, however the in-game text will still refer to the characters by their English names.

== Graphics ==
The graphics are generally alright for a Nintendo Wii, but they definitely could be improved. The graphics are 3D. There are several glitches in the game - such as getting stuck in walls, and other solid objects.

A woman called Juri comes to [[Kogoro Mouri]] with her manager and asks for her help. She got a letter from [[Kaitou Kid]] that he is going to steal the Jewel of Destiny which is a star sapphire. Kaitou Kid's message like always is a code.

The lady uses it in a play that she is in called "Josephine". During the day of the play, [[Conan Edogawa|Conan]], [[Ran Mouri|Ran]], Kogoro, [[Detective Boys]], [[Sonoko Suzuki|Sonoko]], and [[Hiroshi Agasa|Professor Agasa]] go with him to see the play. While is getting ready to play the part of Joesphine the kids look around the make up room. Kogoro also notices that she is a beginner diver. [[Ayumi Yoshida|Ayumi]] is interested in the cosmetics tries to try one on but gets caught by the make-up artist, Sakai Natsuki.

Soon the other actors come in. There's Bunjiro Narusawa, Tenko Tajima, Iaso Shinjo, and Toru Ban. [[Ginzo Nakamori]] comes in after them. After arguing with each other, Nakamori introduces someone that [[Juzo Megure|Inspector Megure]] told him to bring. [[Shinichi Kudo]] comes in and everyone is shocked, espicially Conan. Conan outbreaks, "He's not Shinichi-niichan!" Kogoro asks him how does he know and Conan almost told everyone but stopped himself at the last second responding nothing.

Inspector Nakamori pinches Shinichi's face and determines its the real Shinichi; Conan knows the reason he's not wearing a mask is because he looks like him. Nakamori pinches everyone's faces to make sure none of them is Kid. Shinichi tells everyone that he will investigate on his own and asks if Ran wants to come with him. Conan, determined not to let him be with her alone, begs Ran if he can come too. After checking all the doors with Ran, Shinichi goes off to see the view. Ran comments to Sonoko that something about Shinichi isn't right.

The play starts and Conan uses his night-vision glasses to make sure Kid doesn't leave. Kid waves to him and leaves so Conan runs after him. They eventually get to the roof where they comment they will settle things here. Kaitou Kid comments that is love is waiting to eat dinner with him and Ran's voice is heard saying, "Conan, dinner is ready!" Conan looks back at Kaitou Kid and he see's he was mimicing Ran's voice. Conan tries to hit him with his soccer ball but misses, and is is backed up to the railing.

Kaitou Kid shoots and Conan dodges it, but falls off. Kaitou Kid concerned about him falling runs off the building and flys after him; Conan uses this to try and stun him with his watch but Kid barely dodges it. Conan than pulls a cord coming from his backpack and a parachute is released. After a chase Kid manages to get away.

The cast of the play invites everyone to go to Haido with them because of their work protecting the sapphire. The next day while waiting for the plane so they can go to Hokkaido Conan feels like someone is watching him. Meanwhile Inspector Nakamori goes to where they are going to be staying in Hokkaido early to make sure Kaitou Kid isn't there setting anything up. They look in Juri's cabin and they see a silhoutte of Kaitou Kid.

Back at they airport they all get on the plane (first-class) and it seems that Ran invited [[Eri Kisaki|Eri]]. Coming late is Shinjo who is Juri's boyfriend; He goes up to Juri and kisses her sapphire ring. While on the plane Conan figures out the meaning of the card and the four words on the letter. It was to say he was going to steal it on the plane.

Right after take off Juri seems desperate to go to the washroom. When she finally goes in she comes out in a very short while. Right after coming out Juri goes to the cockpit to meet the pilots. It seems they know her and it is revealed she used to be a pilot.

Juri goes back and eats one of the chocolates her manager offered her. Kogoro also eats one too. After licking her lips she seems like she is choking and dies.

Conan figures out how Juri was murdered and while trying to tranquilize Kogoro but he accidentally shoots Eri because of turbulence; So he uses Eri's voice and explains how the murderer did it.

It is revealed that the murderer is '''Natsuki Sakai'''. Apparently, she puts poison in the make-up so that when Juri went in the washroom to pop her ears by holding her nose; the poison got onto the fingers of Juri and after she licked her fingers the poison was introduced into her body.

Right after the deduction the plane starts to descend. Conan remembers seeing the pilots kiss Juri's hand thus making them poisoned, so Shinjo and Conan take control of the plane.

While alone in the cockpit, Conan tells Shinjo that he knows he is Kid and that the real Shinjo is probably waiting for us dressed up as Kid for the party. Kid tells Conan that the sapphire is fake.

While flying the plane, it's struck by lightning. They activate the back up generator. They see that the auto-pilot is broken down so they have to cancel the landing. They manage to pull up but lose one engine in the process and damage the runway. The next thing they notice is that there isn't much fuel left. This is because when everyone was in the cockpit, Ban accidentally hit the fuel gauge button which made the fuel (in separate engines) go into one big tank.

Conan finds a place to land (Sakamori Dock). Kid (in diguise of Shinjo) says he can't do it because he injured his hand and that Ran should take his place. Kid opens the emergency hatch and tells them good luck. Kaitou Kid then jumps from the plane. Nakamori chasing the real Shinjo, notice the real kid flying, and so they chase after him.

Conan tells Sonoko to take his place and that he has to go to the washroom, also to put on the headsets in case contact is made with the airport again. Conan uses his voice-changing bow tie and tells Ran using Shinichi's voice. Ran tells him to stop acting so cool and that the fate of these passengers is within her hands. She then tells him that she loves him which makes him go silent. She tells him that she see's a ribbon of red lights. Heading towards the dock. Conan sees it and realizes why Kid jumped off. He was going to attract the lights of the police to create a runway so they can see.

Ran successfully lands the plane. Ran thinks that the person who jumped was Kaitou Kid's accomplice and she was talking to Kaitou Kid. She is relieved to know her secret wasn't let out.

A seven year old movie star by the name of Kazuki Kinukawa comes to the Mouri Detective Agency to try and find his mother who abandoned him at a church. His reasons are to tell his mother he will not give her any money now that he is famous. Conan is able to deduce Kazuki's mother is a hotel employee in Atami due to the old dirty postcards she sent him. Kazuki reveals that he remembered that his mother had a beauty mark near her breast. A freelance writer named Yasuhiro Kamoshita checks into the hotel as he plans to find Kazuki's mother and interview her to confirm whether Kazuki's father was truly a murderer. Later that day, Kamoshita is strangled to death but managed to take a picture on his cellphone during the attack.

Conan tranquilizes Kogoro and uses his voice changing bowtie to impersonate him. Conan reveals that the beauty mark on the murderer was actually a blood stain and that the culprit is revealed to be '''Toshiko Bessho''' as evidenced by the small blood stain near her collar. Toshiko confesses to the murder and explains that she decided to play a joke on Kazuki's production company by threatening to reveal Kazuki's father is a murderer unless they pay her ¥20 million. However, they actually paid her which sparked Kamoshita's investigation. Kamoshita upon finding the truth, blackmails Toshiko for money which motivated her for murder. The following day, Kazuki gives Tomoko Saegusa a package of post cards and tells her she has to continue to send her monthly post cards or he will visit her again. As Kazuki leaves, Tomoko breaks down in guilt for abandoning her son those many years ago.

* The anime added an extra scene that Kazuki bumped into Saegusa which she helped him and Kazuki noticed a mole on the back of her neck.
* The female criminal's entire figure is obscured unlike in manga which the female criminal's figure is naked and only her face is obscured.
* In the anime, Conan simply hides under Kogoro's outer shirt while in the manga he hides in Kogoro's yukata.

Yoko takes the Detective Boys to a TV studio for a tour. When they run into Onizuka Satan, a vocalist for a visual kei rock band. The Detective Boys decide to search for his room to get his autograph. Meanwhile, a cosmetic-less Satan meets with the director of the TV station, Tenji Urushihara, and murders him.

The Detective Boys find Onizuka Satan's room and meet Satan in full make up who gives them an autograph. Soon after Urushihara is found by an employee and the police arrive at the station. While the police suspect the murderer to be Satan, Satan retorts that with his make up and costume, it would have been impossible to leave his room without being noticed. Since there is no mirror in Satan's dressing room, it would be impossible to put on his make up and absolves him from the murder. Conan still suspects Satan is the murderer.

Kogoro receives an invitation to a Halloween cruise; the Halloween cruise is famous for hiring guests to star in a horror film. Conan receives the same invitation from Vermouth; the invitation however is addressed to Conan Edogawa and Shinichi Kudo, meaning Vermouth knows his true identity. During the cruise, the party members are divided into groups with team devil consisting of Kogoro, Sonoko, and people disguised as a werewolf, a mummy, a medusa and an invisible man. During the party, the host is shot by a crossbow, attached to the arrow is a card from team devil.

The invisible man gathers the party guests to the bow of the boat and reveals his identity as Shinichi and declares '''werewolf''' as the murderer. He reveals that the werewolf placed his mask on the Mummy to establish his own alibi evidenced when the Werewolf come out of the Mummy's bathroom stall. To support this, Shinichi points to the fact that the Werewolf claimed he was busy concentrating on staying in character so he could be hired to star in the movie, yet he was drinking a dry Martini, also known as a silver bullet and thus disproves his lie. As evidence, Shinichi reveals that there was glass shards on the balcony where the host was killed and that there should be glass shards between the soles of the Werewolf's shoes. The Werewolf confesses and reveals that Vermouth held his family hostage and blackmailed him to murder the host. Elsewhere, Haibara is picked up by Jodie while they are followed by Tomoaki Araide.

Jodie confronts Araide at the pier who reveals that it is Vermouth in disguise. Back at the party, Shinichi is revealed to be Heiji in disguise; This was done to distract Vermouth from noticing Conan's absence. Haibara is revealed to be Conan in disguise and attempts to subdue Vermouth. However, the real Haibara arrives at the pier and is narrowly saved from death by Ran's timely appearance. Shuichi Akai's appearance prompts Vermouth to take Conan hostage and flee the scene. Conan reveals to Vermouth he has a covert listening device on him that will send everything that was said to the authorities in the event of his death. Vermouth exhales a sleeping gas on Conan and tells him she will postpone her plan on murdering Haibara for now. Conan awakens to find out the device has been destroyed and no evidence of the Black Organization remain.

Conan and Agasa decided to bring a very sick Haibara to the clinic, but the clinic happened to be filled and they had to wait at least two hours before their turn. They then decided to first have lunch at a nearby shopping mall. At the car park of the shopping mall, they spot four porsches, with a drunk man sleeping in one of them. Later, Conan and Agasa meet Ran, Sonoko and Jodie at a restaurant while Haibara rested in Agasa's car. Conan noticed Jodie's suspicions when she heard Ran mention Haibara. He was then interviewed by a TV crew and decided to return to the car and bring Haibara away as he knew he could have been spotted by people from the Black Organization through television. However, when he returned to the car park, the man in the porsche was found dead, and Conan has to solve the case.

Once there, they find out the movie has been delayed to later that night. Yukiko having to leave to catch her flight to America, leaves the kids in the care of Akira Hojima, one of the four employees of the Kamen Yaiba film. Before leaving, Yukiko tells Conan to be careful of the black car that has been following them. Akira takes the kids to his apartments near the studio and invites his fellow employees to a game of Mahjong. While everyone is asleep, they are awakened by a scream and find the salesman Norihiro Furumura murdered with a kitchen knife.

The police and Agasa appear revealing it was a set up to reveal the culprit to be the employee '''Yoshihiko Negami'''. Conan using his voice changing bow-tie voices through Agasa that Yoshikiko using fluorescent tape was able to cross the messy room quietly and with fluorescent paint covering Furumura's third button, was able to stab him in the heart. Yoshikiko confesses and reveals that the parts of the film Furumura ruined could never be re-filmed as one of the main side actors died. The killer has used florescent (see in the dark) tape on desks and tables to find the victim and stab him. He then used it again to escape without making a sound, framing someone else in the process.

When the black car stalking them passes by, Conan reveals to Haibara he called Takagi to go ask them if they had been drinking. Since the driver is smoking while going by, it means the stalkers gave up of them. They call [[Shuichi Akai]], who now has pictures the pair took while following the detective boys, and explain they can't follow anymore. Akai tells them he still hasn't confirmed something yet. As he hangs up, he amends that last statement with "it's too alike" - perhaps a reference to Haibara looking like [[Ai Haibara|Sherry]].

[[Miwako Sato]] reminisces about the bomber case three years ago. Three years ago, a bomber sent a fax to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police containing the location of a bomb in the form of a riddle. [[Jinpei Matsuda]] discovers the bomb's location and realizes that the bomb contains a clue to an even larger bomb and that the clue is only revealed during the last three seconds before detonation; Matsuda sacrifices his life and allowed the police to locate the second bomb. Conan deduces the code and disarms the bomb with one second remaining and reveals that the code refers to the English word "Detective" and when flipped around in its kanji form, says Teitan, the name of the school. The bomb at Teitan High is disarmed and the bomber is captured. When the bomber tries to set it off, he realizes it has already been defused. When he is cornered by the police, he attempts to escape, but Sato chases him and corners him, attempting to take revenge for killing Matsuda. Takagi comes just at time to prevent Sato from doing so and brings her back to her senses. As they attempt to kiss, Megure breaks it up and the case ends with the bomber being arrested. In the incident 7 years ago, he only committed the crime with his colleague to steal money and actually were promising in secret to not kill any victims. However, after the police employ a dirty announcement trick to take advantage of his accomplice's moral conscience that inadvertently causes him to die in a car accident. The other bomber vows total vengeance against the Japanese police department and with these new serial bombing attacks threatens to ruin their reputation, slowly losing his sanity in doing so.

*In the manga version, not much is known about the bombing case that happened 7 years ago. Kenji Hagiwara also doesn't receive any specific character design like he does in the anime version, as he is only mentioned by name.
*In the manga, Takagi doesn't slap Sato to calm her down when she tries to shoot the bomber.
