After being asked about his drawings of a home, the man realizes he has been drawing unconsciously, and holds his head in pain. In the hospital, he was revealed to have been affected by amnesia and the pain was his returning memories. The man leaves the hospital. His wife, Kimie, is the only one who can identify the body but she proclaims it's not him. Conan proves that the murdered man is Tatsuo by the fingerprints he left behind when he came home after regaining his memories. Conan reveals that the murderer is '''Kimie Hayase'''.
