Yumi and Naeko overheard and thought that Sato is pregnant.<br /> <br /> ==== Confession ====<br /> Conan, Haibara, and the Detective Boys bumped a fellow Teitan Elementary student, Noriya Makabe at a convenience store. Noriya invited the Detective Boys to his cousin's apartment, Toshinari Shiga to play a game. After they went into Toshinari's apartment, Conan sensed something is suspicious and started to search the apartment. Conan asked Noriya if his brother just moved there, and Noriya replied he moved about a month ago and Toshinari is not his brother, but his cousin. His parents are away, so Noriya will be staying with his cousin for a week. Noriya also said Toshinari's sister died in a traffic accident 6 months ago, and his mom asked him to stay with him and cheer him up. While showing Toshinari's sister's picture album to Conan, they suddenly heard a scream from the hallway. The scream was Toshinari's and there was a murder next to his apartment. Sato and Takagi continues the investigation including about Toshinari's sister's accident. Toshinari explained that after the accident happened, he would lay flowers at the scene everyday. Takagi replied that the flower seems like a bit of a gaudy choice and he also explained he chose the flower because her sister loved pink color. Conan then asked &quot;Was your sister having any problems? For example, a stalker or something, maybe?&quot;. Toshinari seems to be shocked at first but after Sato asked, he quickly replied &quot;No&quot;. Conan becomes sure Toshinari is the murderer but he has an alibi. After Conan solves the case, he asked Haibara to let the others go somewhere else. He had tricked Noriya's sense of time to help prove his alibi. The motive was that Hiroto was stalking Mika which caused her death. Shiga's sister had jumped into traffic in order to get away from her stalker, Hiroto, and was hit by a car. If Hiroto had called for an ambulance, and told them where she was she might've lived.<br /> <br /> Hiroto knew that Mika was pinned under the car she was hit by but said nothing and fled out of fear. Despite her death he kept photos that he took when stalking her, and in front of these photos he blamed Mika for dying because she ran away from him. Shiga who had been spying on him from outside his window saw this and was infuriated, when he confronted Hiroto he asked why did he not call an ambulance for her? Why did he not tell the paramedics that she was pinned under the car? Why did he run away? Hiroto simply said that he scared because of what happened and he did not know what to do.<br /> <br /> After the case was solved, Takagi said Noriya will be staying at Prof. Agasa's house until his mother comes back. Apparently, her mother called and told Noriya that Toshinari had to go on a trip for a while. Takagi gives back Sato's lost badge to her, and the real reason why Sato got disappointed is because of the lost badge. Later at the HQ, everyone is staring at the two. Yumi and Chiba greeted Sato and found out it was all a misunderstanding. Makoto soon leaves to nap in the car, not finding bowling to be his strong suit. After a while, math teacher Michiko Monna becomes worried about Tanba, and in going to check on him, finds him missing. They all check around the local bars, but the missing teacher is found drowned in a portable toilet, and Makoto becomes the prime suspect due to the strength required for such a feat. Since Masaki is a science teacher, only she could have done it. First, Masaki brought Tanba to the parking lot under the excuse that she was taking him to the car. Then, Masaki told Tanba that she forgot something and told him to take shelter in the porta-potty until she returned. When Tanba did that, Masaki knocked him out with the stun gun, then tied him to the toilet seat with his belt to keep him from standing. Masaki put the 4 makeshift kerosene candles on the self above him, locked the door with a padlock and posted an &quot;out of service&quot; sign on the door. Masaki continued to duct tape the cracks and used a towel on the drain to keep the water from being drained. She lied about Tanba sleeping in the car: Masaki waited for the water to get stagnant. Masaki knew that Monna would go check on Tanba out of worry. So, while everybody was looking for Tanba, Masaki ensureed the water gathered well enough, took away the sign on the door and removed the lock. Masaki proceeded to light fire on the cans and continued to tape the door. What will follow is, the water will flood the porta-potty and Tanba drowns as a result.<br /> <br /> Sunami's motive was to avenge her best friend's, who was Michiko's younger sister, death. Her best friend's goodbye text wasn't about eloping, but of double suicide by drowning as her parents opposed their marriage, and Tanba let her die alone and ran way instead of trying to stop her. Sunami discovered the truth when the drunk Tanba confessed that he was too scared to commit suicide with his lover and had since been blaming himself for his own cowardice. After this is straightened out, we learn that he was attacked by teacher Masahiro Tanba, who was drunk. His coworker Sunami Masaki took him to the car to calm down. Makoto soon leaves to nap in the car, not finding bowling to be his strong suit. After a while, math teacher Michiko Monna becomes worried about Tanba, and in going to check on him, finds him missing. They all check around the local bars, but the missing teacher is found drowned in a portable toilet, and Makoto becomes the prime suspect due to the strength required for such a feat.
