Holmes' Apprentice
Kogoro, Ran, and Conan find a cat belonging to a rich British woman who offers to pay their expenses on a trip to London so Kogoro may share his detective stories with her friends. To get past airport security, Haibara offers Conan two antidotes to the APTX 4869 for the trip and back. At the Holmes museum, Ran calls Shinichi asking him if he wants a survivor from London. His weak reaction causes Ran to angrily hang up. Outside the museum, a kid named Apollo Glass asks to see Sherlock Holmes to a solve a code that will prevent a person from being murdered. Conan offers to solve the riddle by posing as Holme's apprentice. Apollo reveals a strange man gave him a note containing seven coded riddles, declaring someone in London will die if it is left unsolved. They learn from the police that many children received the same code which Conan speculates to mean a large number of people will die. Conan and Agasa separate from the group as they attempt to decode the riddles.

Love is 0
Ran, feeling upset as she believes Shinichi does not share her feelings, is confided by Apollo's sister, pro tennis player Minerva Glass. Minerva then parts ways with Ran advising her Love is Zero and would never amount to anything no matter the effort. Ran calls Shinichi for advice on the riddles. Conan, tells Ran the first riddle "A rolling bell rises me", refers to Big Ben and accidentally reveals he is in London. Realizing Ran will discover Conan's true identity if she finds him, Conan and Agasa flee from her. Conan becomes cornered in a phone booth and is forced to take the antidote to the APTX 4869 for the return trip and confronts Ran as Shinichi. Ran confesses her pain of liking Shinichi who is indifferent to her feelings and runs away as he pursues her.

Satan
The next day, the police reveal the identity of the man who created the note, Sabara Hades. Kogoro and Ran decode the riddle "My portion is like a chilled boiled egg like a corpse" which refers to City Hall. There, they find many dolls with "Mazarin Stone" written on their shirts where when beheaded, reveals the letter "T". The riddle "I finished up with a whole pickle" refers to 30 St Mary Axe where scratched up pens labeled as Dancing Men reveal the letter "N". At Big Ben, Ran and Kogoro find an arrow pointing to a drain where The Valley of Fear of fear is inscribed. They deduce from the story that something had been sunk in the river, and find a drain cover with the letter "A". Apollo leads the two to the next riddle, "Now I remember to ask a cake to celebrate in advance" referring to St. Bride's Church where they find letters entitled, "A Scandal in Bohemia". Soaking the letter in water reveals the letter "S".
The Great Detective’s Disciple
After coincidentally finding the cat of a rich English lady, Diana, Ran, Mouri and Conan are invited to go visit London. Due to passport issues, Conan is given permission by Ai to change back into Shinichi for 24 hours and later back to Conan to meet up with the Mouris. But soon after his visit to the Sherlock Holmes Museum at Baker Street, Conan meets a young boy called Apollo Glass looking for Holmes. After telling the boy that he is Holmes' assistant, Apollo tells Conan about a mysterious man who forewarned a murder in London and left him a riddle. Conan later finds out through the New Scotland Yard that there are many young boys all over London who have received the same riddle. To stop this soon-to-be mass murderer from achieving his goals, Conan opens yet another case but this time in London - the home of the greatest detective, Sherlock Holmes.
Sharon Vineyard, also known by her alias Chris Vineyard, and as her Black Organization name Vermouth, is a character in the manga and anime franchise Detective Conan.

Background
Sharon's background is very mysterious. She was friends with Yukiko Kudo back when they were acting together, but she was even then secretly a member of the Black Organization. It is unknown for exactly how long she has been a member, but it is known that she had been secretly living two lives through the art of disguise: that of herself and her supposed daughter, Chris Vineyard. After staging Sharon Vineyard's death, she now lives as "Chris" and continues to serve the Black Organization. At one point, some twenty years ago, she killed the parents of a little girl who would become the FBI agent Jodie Starling, one of her most bitter enemies.

Sharon entered the storyline some time after Shiho Miyano/Sherry/Ai Haibara's mysterious flight from the Organization. Her main objective was to track down and eliminate the 'traitor', and for that purpose she assumed the identity of doctor Tomoaki Araide. But although she managed to discover Shiho's reversion into a child, she did not succeed in killing her, as she met Conan Edogawa, who was able to discover and thwart her plans. She also encountered the FBI during this process.

Vermouth has great personal interest in Conan, constantly calling him "Silver Bullet". Since it has been revealed that she knows about Ai and Kudo's reversion to their child forms, she seems to know the shrinking effect the drug can have, but for reasons yet unrevealed she keeps this knowledge secret from the rest of the Organization.

Personality
At this point, Sharon seems very mysterious. She knows about Conan being Shinichi, as well as that Haibara is Sherry, yet she has kept this information a secret from the rest of the Organization.

It is frequently implied that Sharon does not approve with the Organization's plans and is willing to quit, but fears the consequences of doing so openly. She is frequently shown to hold hopes that Conan is the 'silver bullet' that will eventually stop the Organization. She also retains personal feelings for persons who have earned a special place in her heart, such as Shinichi/Conan (as the son of her best friend) and Ran (who had inadvertently saved her life during her and Shinichi's adventures in New York). As a result, she is highly unwilling to do them any harm even when she is ordered to do so.
But her real name is Cris Vineyard daughter of Sharon Vineyard
Trivia
The name "Vermouth", is actually pronounced "Belmont".

In the Episode 362 of the Anime, Jodie Starling referred to Vermouth's disguise as a frightening type of perfection.
Thanks to Sonoko's uncle and Shinichi's father, the group is one of the first people to enter a virtual reality game, developed by the son of the game director named Hiroki, a prodigy who committed suicide years ago. But, they are trapped in the game in Victorian era London; home of notorious murderer Jack the Ripper. One by one, members of the group are "killed" and the only way out of this game is by winning. Who could be behind this, and could it be that whoever killed Hiroki's father is the same person? Conan needs to be smarter than Sherlock Holmes if he wants to catch The Phantom of Baker Street!
Plot
A man driving down a hillside road suddenly realizes that his car’s brakes don't work. Traveling at a high speed, the car crashes into a toll station. The man dies but leaves a mysterious dying message: "Tanabata kyo.”

A mysterious Mahjong tile next to the body links this case to six other homicide cases in Tokyo, Kanagawa, Shizuoka, Nagasaki, and other places in Japan. Because of the Mahjong tiles left beside each victim, the police conclude that the same person or organization committed these large-scale murders. The police of prefectures across Japan unite to find the murderer.

After a police conference about this case, Conan discovers a police officer walking out of the building and entering a black Porsche. He concludes that a Black Organization member is disguised as a police officer and has infiltrated the meeting. Conan is left wondering which officer is the fake and what interest the Black Organization has in the case.

On the day of Tanabata, Conan corners Vermouth in the underground parking lot of a shopping mall and interrogates her. She says that the Black Organization needs a memory chip and a new member, "Irish."

Conan employs the help of Heiji Hattori and tries to solve the serial murder case by following the dying message lead. He and Heiji find out that two years ago, there was a fire accident in a hotel in Kyoto, and a young woman named Nanako Honjou died. The elevator could only hold seven, but eight people needed to escape. Nanako wasn't on the last elevator and couldn't escape. Conan tracks down her neighbor, Shun Sawamura, and asks him some questions.

Conan finds out that Nanako and her boyfriend, Kousuke Mizutani, often went star gazing together. Conan realizes that the crime scenes are ordered like the star constellation Ursa Major, making the last crime scene the Tokyo Tower. The police also figure out the pattern of the crime scenes and leave for Tokyo Tower.

On the way, Officer Satou and Takagi make a detour to Beika Woods after receiving a call from Professor Agasa. The Detective Boys find Matsumoto inside a small house in the woods.

When the police arrive at a deserted Tokyo Tower, Conan sneaks past them and confronts Mizutani. Mizutani thought one of the seven must have pushed Nanako out, but Nanako’s brother, Kazuki Honjou, who was one of the seven in the elevator, shows up and testifies that she voluntarily stepped out. Conan reveals that the real murderer is Kazuki and not Mizutani because Mizutani would never commit murder to stain the memory of Nanako and his precious stars. Kazuki tricked Mizutani to create a scapegoat. Nanako’s brother threatens Conan and Mizutani with a knife. Someone shoots the knife out of Kazuki’s hands—Matsumoto.

Conan realizes that Matsumoto is Irish in perfect disguise. Irish claims that he doesn’t want to kill Conan. He says he knows Conan’s true identity but didn’t tell anyone because he hates the Black Organization for killing his friend, Pisco. Conan wants the memory chip, but Irish refuses to hand it over.

Soon Ran arrives at Tokyo Tower and finds Irish, who is still disguised as Matsumoto. She makes some good karate hits, but a kick to his face tore off part of his mask, thus surprising her. Irish uses this to his advantage and overpowers Ran.

Irish and Conan move outside near the top, and a helicopter with Gin, Vodka, Korn, and Chianti arrives. Irish shows them the chip, and Gin orders Chianti to shoot Irish and the chip. Seriously injured by the bullet, Irish is barely alive. Conan tries to drag him to safety, but Gin notices Conan and tries to shoot him. Irish protects Conan and dies.

The Black Organization attacks Conan with a machine gun, damaging the upper levels of the Tokyo Tower. Cornered at the top, Conan escapes by using his expanding suspenders as a slingshot to throw one of the tower's and the Black Organization's helicopter, damaging the engine. The Black Organization manages to fly away, but the helicopter crashes soon after.

Resolution
<spoiler>
* Conclusion

When Conan is walking with Ai through the woods to a boarded up house talking about the case, Conan mentions that Irish died before he told Conan where Matsumoto is and thanks to the Detective Boys that Matsumoto was found. Conan remembers Irish's last words: "Kudo Shinichi... Keep... Coming After Us.." , before he replies in his mind that he will do what Irish wanted until the day he destroyed them, meaning he's got another reason to fight the Black Organization.
Movie 14
Plot
A terrorist group invades a laboratory containing a deadly bacteria and destroys the lab with an explosion. They later announce via the internet they have gained possession of the bacteria and declare themselves to be the Red Siamese Cats (赤いシャムネコ Akai Shamu Neko?), a terrorist group that was eradicated a decade ago.

Conan Edogawa, Kogoro Mori, Ran Mori, the Detective Boys, are invited by Sonoko Suzuki's uncle, Jirokichi Suzuki, to fly in his airship to witness his attempt at capturing Phantom Thief Kid by baiting him with the jewel called Lady Sky (レディー スカイ Redī Sukai?). Kid replies to Jirokichi's challenge with a letter announcing he will steal Lady Sky when the airship approaches Osaka. Aboard the airship, besides its employees and the police, there are four others whom are working for the media: Takamichi Fujioka, a journalist; Masaki Mizukawa, a TV director; Kasumi Nishitani, a reporter; and Junpei Ishimoto, a cameraman. Meanwhile, a waitress enters the smoking room where an ampoule with the logo of the Red Siamese Cats is seen under the sofa. Conan reminisces to Professor Agasa about the time Ran thought an airship was a Unidentified flying object and asks him to keep it a secret. A waiter overhears Conan in the shadows.

Conan's group is given a tour of the airship; Ran diverges from the group to get a better look at Lady Sky. She meets a waiter wearing a bandage similar to the one she gave to a maintenance personnel and grabs his arm deducing he is Kid in disguise. She then subdues him and threatens to hand him over to Ginzo Nakamori. Kid removes the mask and pretends to be Shinichi Kudo and convinces her by telling her she thought the airship was a UFO once. Meanwhile, the waitress begins to develop a rash on the back of her arms. Jirokichi receives a phone call who tells him the bacteria in the smoking room before hanging up. Nakamori confirms through the ampoule that it is the work of the Red Siamese Cats. Fujioka begins to develop a rash over his whole body and approaches the group whilst in pain before being knocked out by Ran. The waitress with the rash is found unconscious by a short-haired waitress; Fujioka and the unconscious waitress are quarantined in a separate room. Conan leaves to search for the Detective Boys who are exploring the ship.

Conan finds them in the attic of the airship. There, they witness an unknown culprit unlock the roof allowing the Red Siamese Cats to enter and hijack the ship. Their leader announces they plan to get revenge on Jirokichi who assisted in eradicating the terrorist group and that they will detonate the bombs on the ships or release a second ampoule containing the bacteria if they resist. Conan finds the four rooms in the attic of the ship and disarms them; He notes it was strange they used bombs and bacteria to hijack the ship and attempts to figure out their ulterior motive. The terrorist group holding Jirokichi at gunpoint is able to gain possession of Lady Sky. Mizukawa begins to develop the rash on his right palm and is incarcerated in the smoking room. Ran remembers that Fujioka grabbed her arms and is relieved to find no rash has developed. Nishitani laments that the Detective Boys are missing; the Red Siamese Cats overhear this and bring Conan and the Detective Boys to the lobby. Ai Haibara informs Conan through the Detective Badge that the Red Siamese Cats are after him but is slapped by the short-haired waitress whom is revealed to be part of the Red Siamese Cats.

Conan is thrown out the window by their leader and Kid manages to save him. Meanwhile, Heizo Hattori attempts to deduce the Red Siamese Cats goals, and confirming that if their goal is to get revenge on the Jirokichi, they would crash the airship into the Suzuki company building, the Bell Tree Tower and consequently release the bacteria in the airship to the outside world. Conan informs Heiji Hattori about the situation. Conan then calls Inspector Juzo Megure as Shinichi in order to use a police helicopter which he and Kid use to re-board the airship. Conan finds two of the four re-armed bombs in the attic of the airship and grows suspicious as there is no bomb behind the smoking room which would have released the bacteria. Heiji calls Conan telling him the Red Siamese Cats have posted on the internet about the airship causing mass panic to the cities in the airship's path. As the ship approaches Nara, Nara, Kid informs Conan that the ship is emitting smoke. Conan realizes the Red Siamese Cat's true motive and sends Heiji to Nara.

Ran begins to develop a rash from where Fujioka touched her and is quarantined in the smoking room. Conan becomes suspicious of the bacteria as it was only supposed to spread by droplet contact and not physical contact. Conan notices the black fingernails from Ran's escort and realizes what the true nature of the infection is. Conan lures the Red Siamese Cats to the attic of the airship and incapacitates them one by one. Heiji, meanwhile, confronts four policemen at Kōfuku-ji revealing they are part of the Red Siamese Cats and used the airship to evacuate the city in order to steal the priceless buddharupas. The four fake policemen are then arrested by the Nara police. Conan enters the smoking room where Ran is quarantined and reveals that the Red Siamese Cats never released a bacteria. He explains the smoking room was sprayed with an irritating lacquer which causes a rash when it contacts the skin. Conan then realizes that Fujioka was feigning the symptoms of the bacteria and is the mastermind behind the heist.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Police discuss then identities of the Red Siamese Cats. It is revealed they are all foreign mercenaries hired by Fujioka and are only using the terrorist name Red Siamese Cats as a cover up. Conan confronts Fujioka who explains that they targeted the statues since stolen money is easily tracked with modern technology. He then reveals that Nishitani and Ishimoto are his comrades and that the two remaining bombs are placed in the lobby where the group is held and will be detonated when he and his comrades escape the airship. The group in the cabin are tied to the railings by the two culprits who take Lady Sky as their prize. As Fujioka prepares to kill Conan, the airship passes under a bridge and Conan latches his belt to the airship and inflates the soccer ball, jamming it between the bridge and airship causing the airship to tilt vertically. Fujioka falls into the ocean below and the two culprits in the lobby are knocked unconscious.

Kid enters the lobby and unties Ran from the railing and leaves with Lady Sky. As he examines the jewel in the moonlight, Ran, believing Kid to be Shinichi, asks him to turn himself in to the police. Kid tells her he will comply if she kisses him. As the two approach for a kiss, Ran stops and tells him he is not Shinichi. Conan enters the room and angrily runs towards Kid. Kid places Lady Sky on Ran's finger and leaves through the ceiling. Conan asks what Kid did to her, to which she remarks something Shinichi never does and thinks about how he tried to touch her rear.

Situation
Vermouth invited Kogoro Mouri to a Off-season Halloween Party. She also invited Shinichi Kudo to the party. The invitation sent to Kudo also refers him both as Shinichi and Conan. Besides that, Haibara's having a fever.
Spoilers
- Vermouth was disguised as Araide-sensei. <br>
- Conan was disguised as Ai Haibara. <br>
- Heiji Hattori was disguised as Shinichi Kudo. <br>
- Yukiko Kudo was disguised as Medusa. By first impression, the viewers would have thought that Medusa was Vermouth. <br>
- The murderer which Shinichi Kudo and Ran Mouri encountered in New York was actually Chris Vineyard. <br>
- The given codename for Vermouth in the F.B.I. was "Rotten Apple". <br>
- Only the movie producer disguised as the Ghost Captain died in this episode. <br>
- Shuichi Akai was previously considered by Vermouth as the Black Organization's "Silver Bullet", but from the end of this episode onwards (even up to Movie 13: The Raven Chaser) she finally thought the organization's real downfall would be Shinichi Kudo.
