Dorothy may be always online on DCW, but she doesn't really talk to members much lest they would only get bored knowing how boring she could get. Though she can be really nice if someone tries to strike up a conversation with her.

On a real life basis, Dorothy doesn't have friends and never considered having one due to some reasons she refuses to talk about. She usually walks down the street with her head held up high and a face devoid of any emotion. The people around her, the neighbors, a few acquaintances; she considers them all as "just a part of her social circle". She only talks when she's asked about something, or whenever her judgment is needed. Dorothy rarely smiles — and when she does, you can never tell whether or not it's a genuine one. Also, she never trusted anyone, so expect that whatever you tell her, she won't believe you unless it is proven by a powerful proof. Doubts may probably arise if she says that she does though.

When it comes to dressing up, Dorothy isn't really girly. A typical tomboy, her relatives would say. Never in her whole life did she ever wear dresses nor skirts. Her daily outfit would only be knee-length shorts and an outdoor shirt. She even gets up simply this way when going to a nearby mall, not minding if she'd look like a beggar. "You don't have to wear something so extravagant if you'd only check some newly arrived books on a mall", is what she always tells her cousins when they give her questioning looks regarding her outfit. Though when she checks a quite more distant mall for anime stuffs, she would dress up more properly.

This may sound weird to other people, but Dorothy really likes doing
the household chores very much especially washing the dishes and
cooking. She always says that she'd rather stay at home and work on
them than do the things teenage girls usually do like hanging out with
friends or shopping. Dorothy also draws and does cross-stitching when
she's in the mood to do so.

Amaranth likes Greek mythology, classical music, poetry, and fanfiction. Her former username was Nobody, which she chose because she considers it fun to be "nobody". She enjoys writing poems and posted several stories on Fanfiction.net. However, discouraged by her lack of plot ideas, she discontinued them and went into hiatus. Her favorite anime is Code Geass, followed by Detective Conan. She left Detective Conan World for good on December 27, 2011, half a year since she joined. The exact reason why she left remains unclear. It took place however, after a big change in her life.

Amaranth's original username was "Nobody", but she changed it to Amaranth after deleting all the comments on her profile, saying that she wanted a fresh start. The name Amaranth was derived from the Greek ''amarantus'', the name of a mythical flower believed to grow on Mount Olympus with petals that never fade.
Her former display name ''Nobody'' was taken from ''The Odyssey.'' Odysseus is her favorite character in Greek mythology and she felt inspired by the episode where Odysseus and his men were trapped in the cave of the Cyclops Polyphemus and he used the name "Nobody" to deceive the Cyclops. Also, when reading the wiki bios of DCW members, she saw IdentityUnknown's page and reasoned that if they have an Identity Unknown, they should also have a Nobody. She often enjoyed using the double-meaning of her name in jokes with other members. Finally, she changed it after Chelsea said that she "detests it because no one can ever be nobody."

She is sometimes labelled as a weirdo and often feels out of place. She is a melancholic introvert by nature who often spends time brooding over life, but is quite friendly and talkative around the people who are close to her. Following a big change in her life, her personality and interests have changed greatly.

Although she was born and raised in the Philippines, English is her first and primary language. Over the years, she has gained fluency in Filipino, and uses it about 50% of the time on the site. She can also understand a few words in the dialect Cebuano.
