Detective Conan: The Mirage of Remembrance (Released as "Case Closed/Detective Conan: The Mirapolis Investigation" in Europe) is a game for Nintendo Wii.
This is the only Detective Conan video game so far to have been released in English, and in Europe but it has not been released yet in North America.

Plot
Kogoro receives tickets to the grand opening of the Mirapolis complex and is unwittingly forced to take along Ran, Conan, and the Detective Boys. At the opening speech, tensions run high as the Mirapolis staff begin to let their past with the owner get the better of themselves. Soon after, Conan and Ai discover a body by the Mirapolis's pool. With a little help from Heiji, it's up to Conan to solve the murder and prevent anything else from happening.

Gameplay
Players control Conan who can either walk, run, or skateboard around the many hallways and rooms of the Mirapolis complex. Players need to gather information by talking to various people within the building which is then written down in a notebook for future reference. Once enough information is gathered, Conan can begin to piece together the truth by creating "links" and forming "clue chains". Perfect scoring during the game helps unlock bonus features like artwork.

For the player's convenience traveling around the Mirapolis is made easier by a handy teleportation option by selecting a floor from the in-game menu's map. This map also informs the player as to which characters are currently located on that floor.

The Mirapolis is home to a large arcade in its lower levels allowing the player to play mini-games including a version of Whack-a-Mole and an arcade shooter. Players can also try playing curling in the Mirapolis' ice rink.

The English release of the game has an option to change the audio back to its original Japanese, however the in-game text will still refer to the characters by their English names.

Graphics
The graphics are generally alright for a Nintendo Wii, but they definitely could be improved. The graphics are 3D. There are several glitches in the game - such as getting stuck in walls, and other solid objects.
Trivia
*The majority of the cars in Japan have the steering wheel on the right side because Japan is left-hand traffic country; however, many of the vehicles driven by the FBI and the Black Organization have the steering wheel on the left. While this might be expected for the FBI because they originate from the United States which is a right-hand traffic country, this does not make sense for the Black Organization which has a significant base of operations in Japan. This is probably because left-hand drive vehicles are considered more prestigious than right-hand drive vehicles in Japanese culture because they are typically imported.

Relationship analysis
Ayumi obviously has a huge crush on Conan for being intelligent and brave. Some would argue that when she gets older she may even begin to fall in love with him. This relationship causes unsettlement between Genta and Mitsuhiko who also have a crush on Ayumi.
*Episode 4: Ayumi admired Conan for being able to deduce the treasure map code and stop Cavane's accomplices from hurting them. She kisses him at the end of the episode, which startles Mitsuhiko and Genta.
*Episode 418: Ayumi mentions a small house for rent in the neighborhood. She says how she likes small houses and that she would love to live in one when she gets married. Mitsuhiko and Genta immediately start fantasizing about each of them being married to Ayumi in front of the small house. But, right after, Ayumi asks Conan if he would like to see the house which startles Mitsuhiko and Genta. Ai starts giggling and smiling about it. Conan then looks at Ai with a perplexed look and says: "What is it?". Afterward, while going toward the house, Ayumi tells Conan, who was lagging behind with Ai, to hurry up. This doesn't quite please the other two boys who claim he doesn't need to be there. After reaching the little house, Mitsuhiko and Genta are in awe, and they start fantasizing again. Ayumi eventually asks Conan which kind of house he likes. Mitsuhiko and Genta get mad and want to know why she's asking Conan about it. She replies: "Because, if he's the one that becomes my husband, I would like to know what he likes." At this moment, both Mitsuhiko and Genta's dreams break like shattered glass in the background.
*Movie 5: Ayumi had a one on one talk with Ran and she confessed that she loves Conan, but Conan is in love with Ran. Ayumi wanted Ran to tell Conan to not like Ran because Shinichi is already Ran's true love. But by the end her worries were evaporated when Conan grabbed her hand and held her as they made their crash-landing.

Conan/Ayumi moments
*Episode 4: Ayumi kisses Conan for being heroic and saving everyone from Ca vane's thug while searching for the treasure. This startles Mitsuhiko and Genta and giving Conan a death stare while Ayumi is clinging onto Conan's arm.
*Episode 12: Ayumi proclaims that she knows that Conan would save her if anything happened to her, also stating that they were destine to be together. Ayumi is kidnapped later and multiple times throughout the episode Conan shows great concern for her. He seems to worry about her as much as he does Ran, and repeats her name without the honorific several times (this is a big deal considering you don't usually refer to anybody that is not your family member or lover by their first name and just that). Also, he is knocked out at one point in time and it was Ayumi's scream that woke him up. He, arguably, overreacted, slamming a helmet HARD into the kidnapper's face, telling Ayumi to take run. When she runs to them after one of the kidnappers is knocked out, he protectively steps in front of her.
*Episode 109: Conan and the Detective Boys found Ayumi's Detective Badge and as Conan returns the badge to Ayumi, she kisses him again. This made Mitsuhiko and Genta jealous and chase him at the end of the episode.
*Episode 140: Ayumi is home sick when a burglar who murders the victims before leaving breaks in. When Conan realizes this, he bolts straight to her house by himself, begging for her to be alright. Earlier in the episode, Haibara also teases him about his relationship with Ayumi and how worried he sounded about her being sick.
**Haibara: "Worried?"
**Conan: "Of course!"
**Haibara: "Eh? Hard to believe your compassion."
**He tells her to shut up.
*Episode 188: Conan is shot and injured. When the DB realize this, Ayumi cries and blames it on herself.
*Episode 259: Conan sets his hands on Ayumi's shoulders, thanking her and saying she's the reason he solved the case while she only gives a confused look.
*Episode 313: Conan grabs Ayumi's shoulders, smiling at her and thanking her. She blushes and gets a big grin. She says to herself that the only Hina doll that she wanted was Conan. Later in the episode, Ayumi sets up the DB on a staircase so that they look like Hina dolls, with her & Conan being the King & Queen.
*Episode 346: Conan grabs Ayumi's hand, resulting in Ayumi blushing and gasping a little.
*Episode 347: Ayumi grabs onto Conan's arm, saying she isn't worried because Conan will protect her.
*Episode 461: When the boy is found Ayumi leans her head on Conan's shoulder, in which he blushes and speaks in an embarrassed tone.
*Episode 466: Ayumi gets lost in the snow and Conan grabs her arm, telling her to stop crying. He then proceeds to tell her to hang onto him and not to let go. She nods and grabs a hold of him.
*Episode 586: Conan is knocked out. In response Ayumi drops to her knees and begs him to wake up, wrapping her arms around his neck and nuzzling him.
*Episode 597: Conan hears Ayumi scream from the spa and instantly runs to her side, not caring if he sees her naked and calls Ayumi by nothing but her name (no honorific), not even acknowledging Haibara who he knew was in there with Ayumi until later.
*Movie 1: When Conan is on the hospital, Ayumi says, that if something happens then she will come immediately to Conan. That made Conan blush and made Kogoro tease him.
*Movie 3: When Ayumi announces that she saw KID and started to fan-girl a little, Conan got a tad bit jealous.
Movie 2: A machine tells Ayumi that Conan and she made a perfect pair. also it says that has a chance for ´´A´´ that means a chance for kissing.
*Movie 5: Ayumi says she can't count to 30 without Conan by her side. (At that moment he once again refers to her by name without honorific.) He grabs her hand during the ticking of the bomb, an action that wasn't needed at all. She later reveals she was counting with her heartbeat, saying that it beat fast whenever he was by her side. Agasa and Haibara then tease Conan about it, in which he denies it, although it seems to be more of a denying self the truth thing.
*Movie 6: Ayumi shivers, saying that it's cold. Conan instantly takes his jacket off, handing it to her and asking her to wear it. She puts it on, commenting about how warm it was.
*Opening 1: Ayumi kissed Conan, and that makes Genta and Mitsuhiko jealous and start to chase Conan.

----
Conclusion:The likeliness of this pairing ever happening is unlikely, due to the fact that Shinici is Conan and Shinici/ Conan would probably prefer not to have a relationship as a 8 year old, who is actually a 17 year old.
Situation
Kogoro Mouri received a strange cut-and-paste letter from a client called Keiji Asou asking him investigate something on Tsukikage Island. He then found out that the man requesting for the investigation, Keiji Asou, has been dead for 12 years. He was a world-renowned pianist who suddenly killed his family, set his house on fire, and played Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata as his house burnt around him. Despite thinking the letter is a poor prank, Kogoro decides to investigate anyway and finds the island is holding elections for mayor. Two years ago, a passerby heard the Moonlight Sonata playing from the community center and discovered the body of the mayor slumped over the piano. Although he died from a heart attack, the similarity to the death of Keiji Asou caused the islanders to think the piano has been cursed.

:*The first movement of the Moonlight Sonata was played from a tape recorder.
:*There was a sea water trail from the door to Kawashima's body and he has dirt and sand on the back of his shirt.
:*Kawashima's jacket was found on the beach.
:*The doors and windows of the piano room were locked from the inside.
:*There were several minutes of silence at the beginning of the tape.
:*The Moonlight Sonata sheet music was found, but the notes in the fourth bar were “strange”.
:*Conan decoded that the “strange” notes actually say: "The hellfire of hatred made you pay."

::Victim: Tatsuji Kuroiwa
::Cause of Death: Stabbed to death
::Location: Broadcasting Room
::Time of Death: 5 minutes and 30 seconds before being found
:*The second movement of the Moonlight Sonata was played.
:*Nishimoto discovered the body.
:*The tape has 5 minutes and 30 seconds lead in silence.
:*Music notes written with the victim's blood were found.
:*Conan decoded the music notes: "You realize it don't you? You're next."

:Third Murder
::Murder: Ken Nishimoto
::Cause of Death: Hanging
::Location: Storage Room
::Time of Death: 30 minutes before being found

:*The third movement of the Moonlight Sonata was set to play.
:*Sheet music that looked liked a suicide note was found under his feet. The decoded note said he regretted killing Kawashima and Kuroiwa and that he didn't want people to find out the wrongdoing they did years ago.
:*There was no chair or anything to stand on, so Nishimoto couldn't hang himself.
:*No one would bother writing a suicide note in code.

:Other incriminating evidence:
:*The dusty piano in the city hall was tuned perfectly.
:*After the first murder, there was someone outside the piano room whom Conan and Kogoro failed to catch.
:*When the gang returned to the city hall after the second murder, there was someone in the piano room who jumped out the window and Murasawa was found unconscious on the floor.
:*After the third murder, Conan returned to the piano room and found a tuning hammer for the piano.
:*Under the piano was a secret drawer with drugs in it.
:*Upon looking at the pictures of the crime scene where Kuroiwa was murdered, there was a button with its red light on near the victim's neck.
:*Conan found that Hirata has powder-like substance under his sleeves and his left hand was bandaged. He also had lots of foreign money with him.
:*Keiji Asou left sheet music in his safe to which it read: “To my son, Seiji”. Asou had a son who became ill when he was a child and had to be hospitalized.

*Conclusion

The person who knocked out Murasawa in the piano room was Hirata. The bandage on his left hand was the result of smashing the window when he was trying to escape. He was also the one that Kogoro and Conan chased outside the piano room. The piano room was his meeting place with Kawashima when doing business: dealing drugs. He was using the piano's secret compartment as a hiding place of drugs he got from overseas to which he exchanged later for large sums of money. The reason why he was always talking about the cursed piano was because he wanted to keep everyone in the town away from it. Murasawa saw the drugs that he had left in there earlier so he hit him. Still, he was unrelated to the murders because he wouldn't have related the piano to the crimes.

In the second murder, they found that he had been dead for only a few minutes but when Conan fell on the code of blood, it didn't smear when it takes 25-30 minutes for human blood to dry. It was just a trick that the killer used to manipulate the time of death of the victim. Upon looking at the pictures, there was a button that was lighted near Kuroiwa's neck. But after the body was moved, the light was turned off. This was actually the reverse button. While the police weren't looking, the killer turned off the light. The killer used the reverse side (the blank side that didn't have the song), which played for over 30 min and then it reversed. That was when the 5 minutes and 30 seconds of gap played before the music started.

In the third murder, the killer didn't have the time to put a chair or desk at Nishimoto's feet because he had to escape in time. The killer was probably male because the murders required a lot of physical strength.

The purpose of drowning Kawashima was to send the forensic examiner back to Tokyo, because it was impossible to do an autopsy on the island. The tape in the second murder was a setup so the killer could create an alibi.

Conan deduced that the killer was Dr. Narumi Asai and that she was, in fact, Asou's son, Seiji. Asai was probably the surname of the family that adopted him. After graduation, he came to the island as a female doctor. The pronunciation of his name was not written on his diploma, nor the medical license, because if they checked his history, they would have found out that he was a man. He stayed all night so that they'd make him last for questioning.

As for Murasawa, he was an admirer of the late Asou and he was the one who kept the donated piano in tune just like that night.

Seiji then committed suicide by dying like his father. Conan failed to stop him, but he played one last music code message in the burning flames: "Thank you, little detective."

*Motive

Seiji's motive dated back when his father, the pianist, and his family was murdered. Kawashima, Nishimoto, Kuroiwa, and Kameyama used Asou's international concerts as a front for their international drug trade. When Asou stated that he wouldn't cooperate any longer, they got scared that their secret might be exposed. This was all written in the sheet music that he left behind in the safe as his confession to his son. Seiji was hospitalized in Tokyo at the time of the murder.

Seiji went back to the island to avenge his family's death. When he told Kameyama that he was Asou's son, the late mayor was terrified and told him everything. He then had a heart attack. Seiji played the Moonlight Sonata that his father loved so much upon seeing the mayor dead.
Although he died from a heart attack, the similarity to the death of Keiji Asou caused the islanders to think the piano has cursed.
:*No one would bother writing a suicide note in code.
:*The dusty piano in the city hall was tuned perfectly.
:*After the first murder, there was someone outside the piano room whom Conan and Kogoro failed to catch.
:*Under the piano was a secret drawer with drugs in it.
:*Upon looking at the pictures of the crime scene where Kuroiwa was murdered, there was a button with its red light on near the victim's neck.

Although he died from a heart attack, the similarity to the death of Keiji Asou caused the islanders to think the piano has cursed.
