== Background ==
Ethan Hondou is also known by Conan as the deceased father of [[Eisuke Hondou]] and Hidemi Hondou (Mizunashi Rena or Kir). He was a CIA agent who went into deep cover as a Black Organization member.

He and his son Eisuke at one point lived in Osaka.

After Ethan went overseas for work, he would occasionally type out messages to his boss' mobile email address while talking to his son on the phone. Eisuke describes the sound as the melody for the "Seven Children" song. This fact, relayed via Ran, allows Conan to deduce that Eisuke's father was in fact a member of the Black Organization as well as a CIA agent.

Recognizing that his newly recruited daughter was about to be found out as a spy by the Black Organization, Ethan committed suicide to protect Hidemi by making it look like she was the one who killed him. After he was killed, a colleague from the CIA came in the warehouse he was killed in and started calling him "Hondou." The colleague was killed by the Black Organization, and they burned down the warehouse. This was all witnessed by a homeless man living on the second floor of the warehouse who luckily escaped the burning warehouse. Sometime later, [[Shuuichi Akai]] found the homeless man and found out all these evidence that would be later used to help the FBI.

In the body, you explain that her name is "Fusae Campbell Kinoshita". I assume you are taking this from how it was written in the Conan Drill.

However! Why does the drill have it as "Fusae Campbell Kinoshita" vs. "Fusae Kinoshita Campbell"? The latter would make more sense if her mother remarried. Agasa knew her surname as Kinoshita in the past and Haibara knows her name as "Fusae Campbell" now - no doubt from some recent commercial or advertisement regarding her special edition goods being sold to commemorate her being in Japan.

I assume the reason you titled it "Fusae Campbell" is because of this awkward situation <3

Feeling self-conscious about this (presumably aided by some teasing from intolerant schoolmates), she became very timid and came to wear a low hat to cover her hair.<ref name=411p/>

When she was in fourth grade, Fusae met [[Hiroshi Agasa]], who helped her overcome her timidness. The two became very fond of each other, especially since Agasa did not ridicule her for her hair color, but Fusae moved away and did not confess her feelings for him. In a letter she left, she promised that once every ten years she would wait for Agasa at "the place of memories" (the ginkgo trees behind Teitan elementary school) until he met up with her, but the hints she left were too complicated for Agasa to crack, and it was not until 40 years later the two were finally reunited with the help of the [[Detective Boys]]. By that time Fusae had become a successful fashion designer, with a ginkgo leaf being her trademark signature (because Agasa had commended on her hair looking like ginkgo leaves in the fall).

One day under the Ginkgo trees behind Teitan Elementary where the animals were kept, her hat blew off revealing her brownish blond hair. She pleaded for Agasa not to look at her hair because she didn't want to be made fun of for looking different. Agasa instead tells her that he likes it and it is as beautiful as a ginkgo leaf.<ref name=412p/>

Late in November, Fusae didn't appear one day, and Agasa found out she had suddenly moved away.<ref name=410p>Manga Volume 40, File 7, Agasa's First Love</ref> Although she didn't tell Agasa she was leaving, Fusae had left a letter in Agasa's mailbox saying that She will meet with him again 10 years from that day, November 24, at "the place of memories". If Agasa didn't come, she would wait again for another ten years. Fusae left a riddle at the bottom of her letter "4163 33 6 0" and "Clue: Animals". Without knowing the answer, Agasa had tried the house with the hamster 30 years prior and the house with the dog 20 years prior but neither were correct.<ref name=410p/> Conan wound up solving the riddle, revealing that the numbers corresponded to the number of letters in the English onomatopoetic sounds various animals make. 4163 was the school rooster's "cock-a-doodle-doo". 33 was the dog's "bow-wow". 6 was the hamster's "squeak", and 0 referred a Fusae's house which had no animals. They in turn referred to the places those animals were which when put together made the phrase "under Teitan Elementary's Ginkgo trees".<ref name=412p/>

Fusae was waiting for Agasa under the Ginkgo trees with her stepfather's friend Billy. She didn't tell Agasa who she was, claiming to be someone who liked the colors of the ginkgo trees and that Billy was her husband. However, Conan recognized Fusae from ten years ago when she loaned Ran her umbrella and Ran promised to buy one of Fusae's designer purses in return when she got older.<ref name=412p/> Fusae didn't want to tell Agasa who she was because she thought that the detective boys who were with Agasa were his grandchildren and was afraid he would be heart-broken that she had waited for him for forty years. She didn't think Agasa had remembered her, but he revealed he did when Agasa called after her that he still thinks ginkgo leaves are pretty. Fusae wants to return again in ten years, but Billy says that he thinks their next meeting will be much sooner than that.<ref name=412p/>

Kinoshita and Billy look very similar to the pair of people who [[Shuichi Akai]] asked to follow [[Yukiko Kudo]] and the [[Detective Boys|detective boys]] at the film studio in chapter 419. Fusae spoke English, and one of her parents was foreign and an English speaker. The name Billy suggests an American or at least English connection which would fit make sense for [[FBI]] related people. Billy's line, “I think the next time you meet will be much sooner than that...” could have a deeper meaning. The cars the two pairs of people drove don’t match. Additionally, Kinoshita had a three person meal in her car, although only two people were present.

Other potential known character couples are ruled out. The shadow people are not [[James Black]] and [[Jodie Starling]] because neither Jodie nor James smoke. They can't be [[Tomoaki Araide]] and his housekeeper [[Hikaru Yasumoto]] either because they are out of the country under protection. They are not members of the [[Black Organization]] because they were working with Akai. None of the other FBI officers guarding [[Setting#Haido Central Hospital (杯戸中央病院)|Haido Central Hospital]] resemble the two shadow people.

===Magican Kinoshita Yoshirou===
Fusae may have had a father who was a magician who died for some unknown reason. When the members of the Magician lovers club <ref>chap 192, ep 132</ref> were talking about their favorite magicians, one of them mentioned liking one "Kinoshita Yoshirou" (木之下吉郎). He shares the same last name as Kinoshita Fusae. Kinoshita Yoshirou is dead already, and it is stated that Kinoshita Fusae left suddenly for some reason during the school year and that her mother remarried. The kanji spellings of the two’s last names (木之下) are identical, which is noteworthy because the spelling is a rarer variant. (The most common spelling is "木下".)

First of all, thanks for the initiative! :) Regarding the template, I'd convert it into a "DCW"-flavored layout (so that we're not too much like wikipedia in the way we present things - plus we like to focus on presentation, readability and attractiveness/user-friendliness in our own unique way). For example, songs have the pink color here in this wiki. It's alright, I'll have a quick look if you don't mind and see how nice I can make it look like. As for the documentation, we don't really use the Doc template here since we're certainly not as big as wikipedia (which does need to centralize a lot of their processes). Okiya knew scar Akai managed to safely get away without being shot because there was no panic about someone being shot outside the store. "Could it be..." may be followed up by "Bourbon?" or "Vermouth?" because I'm sure, following the bank heist, Conan thinks it doesn't make sense that Akai was out of disguise in public and would happen to appear at a place where the FBI were. (Remember Conan knows Okiya is Akai) After the bank heist, Conan is probably leaning towards the real Akai not being a fool and that someone was impersonating him for some reason, probably a member of the Org. What is your opinion of "Next Conan's hint" from Episode 503 (which is bullet) since in next episode (504) only time bullets were use is when Kir shot Akai. Can it be interpret as "The bullet is fake"
You appear to avoid to mention non-conan scene when Okiya appear in the same time as Kaitou Kid to prove Okiya is not Kid. I wonder if you discard the Hint thing for the same reason.

:Yeah, I tend to avoid using things from the anime as evidence since it is unreliable for hints. They make mistakes like turning Fusae Campbell and Billy into generic looking shadow people when they followed the detective boys, and even recently messing up scar Akai's shooting scene. (See picture at right) The bullet could be a hint that Akai was going to "die", or that a "silver bullet" was involved, or maybe Gosho tipped off the animators and it really was a hint the bullets were blanks. However, personally I would recommend establishing '''Plot Overviews''' on their own entry pages, as I think that for sone characters these would get too extensive, even in abbreviated form, for the main description to hold comfortably. In addition, I think it would also be better if the '''Character Background''' included a brief summary of how the character was introduced to ''Detective Conan''. I noticed that you re-added the sections describing how '''Heiji Hattori''' had first met and eventually found out about Shinichi/Conan's secret to the '''Plot Overview''' section. From the narrative style angle, I personally say: not recommendable. The character's introduction should blend into the respective '''Background''' as smoothly as possible, and then the '''Plot Overview''' can flesh out the details of he first meetings and then pick up from there. At least, that's how I would have done it. I've just included a summarization of how Conan managed to dissuade Vermouth from pursuing Ai anymore in Shiho's/Ai's Background section. Likewise, I think the appearance of Subaru (suspected Bourbon) is likewise worth a subsection which I have called "The boling point" in the Background part, since I think this encounter is highly significant. Could you please provide your sources for the edits you made for the Setting page? Things like "District 5" and the "B" you list for Shin'ichi's residence. The only known source for his address I've found is Movie 1, and there is no mention of him living in "house B". It wouldn't make sense. The reason Holmes is mentioned to live in 221B Baker Street is the number of the flat and the specific room he's located in. The Kudous own that entire house and it's not split up like a duplex or something similar, so why would the "B" be necessary? '''EDIT: Found another reference for Shin'ichi's house. Regarding the canon vs. non-canon content flagging, I hear you. Although we do already have a "Manga source" label in an episode's profile box (e.g. [[Roller Coaster Murder Case]]) as well as a "Manga source" column for season lists which says if the episode is an AO or manga-based (i.e. which files and chapters it's from), adding color to the mix would indeed be a nice touch. And you're right about the other pages: it would be harder to tell if a piece of info is canon or not. And labeling these pieces of information as such would be even harder. Maybe we'll be able to think of some kind of syntax or code (e.g. color code) to flag explicit non-canon statements. I'm used to facing such "presentation" challenges so I'll see if I can think of a neat way of doing this. But to be honest, I would say that it's not quite a priority at this time as long as, for example, non-canon info is referenced as such with proper citations (and because they don't represent a necessity on the readability, comprehension and user-friendliness fronts --> it's really just an extra feature).

But to go back to the episodes, I believe we can come up with some better labeling system for their profile pages. I wouldn't color the whole page like you suggested since, as per wikipedia's standards, some background-colored pages do hold certain meanings, such as system, projects, portal pages (and more...). We're not quite using something similar here "yet", but it could happen in the future, who knows. Something like a "Magic Kaito" portal, etc... What we could do in our situation here would be to style the profile box of an AO episode differently. Again, we may need to think of a nice layout and some standard for that as well. I'll definitely spend some time thinking about possible styling options and see what could be great candidates for our purposes. Once again, I wouldn't say this is a priority either but since it's easier to do (and really a nice plus), we can focus on this one for now.

Also, by letting Okiya live in the house, it is certain that Okiya will find out Shinichi is alive. Conan himself told Okiya that Shinichi was alive when loaning his house keys out. If Okiya were a B.O. agent, that would mean an inevitable death sentence for everyone Conan knows, including Ran, because the B.O. would want to erase everyone who might know Shinichi was still alive and what he was investigating since Shinichi may have left compromising evidence behind. Basically, a B.O. agent living next door is a death sentence. 
Conan previously acknowledged that his house would be one of the best places so spy on Haibara and him from.<ref name=Full_Moon>Manga Volume 42 File 5 Page 12: The Full Moon and the Trap at the Banquet</ref> It stands to reason that he might consider an ally like Akai living there a bonus, especially since the new agent Bourbon has been activated, despite the risk that Akai will figure out that Conan is Shinichi.

This Akai wasn't the real Akai (since I'm the real one), and I didn't confront him. Being the real Akai, this scar Akai is obviously someone else..." Okiya is layering his conversation with a second meaning, confirming there is someone disguising as Akai for Conan's benefit, and Conan is surprised and nervous about the info since scar Akai is someone in disguise, possibly an operative from the Black Organization because they have the necessary information and motives.

Okiya is unlikely to be a third party because he knows about Conan's tracking glasses and the detective badges.<ref name=X>Chapter 755 page 14: Communications Code</ref> Conan has never used the tracking glasses in front of Okiya. A third party would not be privy to Conan's gadgets. The mechanism to operate Conan's glasses isn't obvious, so only someone who knows about their existence beforehand could recognize the glasses at Agasa's and figure out how to activate the tracking function.
Akai Shuuichi could have heard about the glasses in several ways. The first source is when James Black was kidnapped while he had [[Ayumi Yoshida|Ayumi]]'s detective badge. Conan used the badge to track down [[James Black]]. James was waiting to meet with Akai before he was kidnapped and drove away with Akai after he was rescued. Akai could have also heard about the tracking function from Jodie when Conan chased after Kir to prevent an assassination. Finally, Akai may also know about them from when Haibara borrowed the glasses to find Conan at the shipping yards in climax of the Vermouth arc. He was present at the time and would have seen Haibara wearing them even though she has never worn glasses when Akai had seen her previously.

Switching handedness after head trauma does not appear to have been documented in scientific literature.

His comment was a sarcastic remark that the "stupid wolves" (BO) who were trying to kill their own agent by mistake not only let the guy they were trying to kill (scar Akai) get away, but they also completely overlooked the real Akai (Okiya). Okiya called it a silly story because the mixup made the BO look foolish.

:Yeah, I tend to avoid using things from the anime as evidence since it is unreliable for hints. They make mistakes like turning Fusae Campbell and Billy into generic looking shadow people when they followed the detective boys, and even recently messing up scar Akai's shooting scene. (See picture at right) The bullet could be a hint that Akai was going to "die", or that a "silver bullet" was involved, or maybe Gosho tipped off the animators and it really was a hint the bullets were blanks. However, personally I would recommend establishing '''Plot Overviews''' on their own entry pages, as I think that for sone characters these would get too extensive, even in abbreviated form, for the main description to hold comfortably. In addition, I think it would also be better if the '''Character Background''' included a brief summary of how the character was introduced to ''Detective Conan''. I noticed that you re-added the sections describing how '''Heiji Hattori''' had first met and eventually found out about Shinichi/Conan's secret to the '''Plot Overview''' section. From the narrative style angle, I personally say: not recommendable. The character's introduction should blend into the respective '''Background''' as smoothly as possible, and then the '''Plot Overview''' can flesh out the details of he first meetings and then pick up from there. I've just included a summarization of how Conan managed to dissuade Vermouth from pursuing Ai anymore in Shiho's/Ai's Background section. Could you please provide your sources for the edits you made for the Setting page? Things like "District 5" and the "B" you list for Shin'ichi's residence. The only known source for his address I've found is Movie 1, and there is no mention of him living in "house B". It wouldn't make sense. The reason Holmes is mentioned to live in 221B Baker Street is the number of the flat and the specific room he's located in. Regarding the canon vs. non-canon content flagging, I hear you. Although we do already have a "Manga source" label in an episode's profile box (e.g. [[Roller Coaster Murder Case]]) as well as a "Manga source" column for season lists which says if the episode is an AO or manga-based (i.e. which files and chapters it's from), adding color to the mix would indeed be a nice touch. And you're right about the other pages: it would be harder to tell if a piece of info is canon or not. And labeling these pieces of information as such would be even harder. Maybe we'll be able to think of some kind of syntax or code (e.g. color code) to flag explicit non-canon statements. I'm used to facing such "presentation" challenges so I'll see if I can think of a neat way of doing this. But to be honest, I would say that it's not quite a priority at this time as long as, for example, non-canon info is referenced as such with proper citations (and because they don't represent a necessity on the readability, comprehension and user-friendliness fronts --> it's really just an extra feature).

But to go back to the episodes, I believe we can come up with some better labeling system for their profile pages. I wouldn't color the whole page like you suggested since, as per wikipedia's standards, some background-colored pages do hold certain meanings, such as system, projects, portal pages (and more...). We're not quite using something similar here "yet", but it could happen in the future, who knows. Something like a "Magic Kaito" portal, etc... What we could do in our situation here would be to style the profile box of an AO episode differently. Again, we may need to think of a nice layout and some standard for that as well. I'll definitely spend some time thinking about possible styling options and see what could be great candidates for our purposes. Once again, I wouldn't say this is a priority either but since it's easier to do (and really a nice plus), we can focus on this one for now.
