I've never heard of anyone signing up with twitter, so maybe you used your twitter account email and password? Your other option is to sign out of your account, go to the login, and select the I forgot my password option. You will be emailed a new password at your old email account. Then log back in using that emailed password, and change the email to your new email and change the password. Usual instructions for things like this You should be able to change your email and password and remove your twitter on your account profile. In the upper right corner, click your username so you are on your forum user page. Then click in the upper right black box "edit my profile". On the left is a menu. "Manage twitter" is one option.
