  1. 1.

Anyway, I'll be randoming and I'll say 2.

No, it's 1. I'm not an active Wikipedia editor.

    1) I consider myself to have had a pretty awful childhood.

    2) I learned how to walk late, but how to count and write and speak early.

    3) I have a bad tendency to, when the change I would receive would involve accepting a lot of coins, to tell the cashier to keep the change outright.

  2. 1. Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works - This is an absolute masterpiece.  Cinematic visuals and action scenes, intriguing plot, and amazing character designs.  This is the adaptation of the Fate/saty night visual novel, and it's shaping up to be even better than Fate/Zero which came out a few years ago.  UBW is the best anime this season, hands down.  It's also the best anime of this year, and it's one of the best anime I've ever seen in my life.  I recommend it to anyone and everyone.

I've heard you preach praise this series for quite some time, but I've never actually got into it because I think there are prerequisite series that are necessary watches first that I haven't watched yet.

    8. Sword Art Online II - This is hands down the worst anime I'm watching right now, though I'll admit much better than Mahouka and Tokyo ESP from this summer.  Predictable plot, no sense of urgency, OP main character with a harem +1 XY chromosome set, and sporadic action that I neither look forward to nor enjoy.  Also, the anime is the home of one of my least favorite characters in anime, Asuna, and whenever I hear her speak my endorphin levels hit rock bottom.

SAO has always given me this feeling that maybe, just maybe, it would actually make something magical. Then it always disappoints me because the only thing that happens is harem +1 and some failed attempt at trying to be meaningful.

Let me add something onto the pile here:

Grisaia no Kaijutsu: A light novel adaptation, that also got a video game, I believe? Something I happened to pick up by complete chance and a series that actually interested me...kinda. Not at first, but I decided to give it a chance and it actually got kinda interesting. Not my thing, but here you guys go.

  3. It's rare that I venture into this section of the forum, but let me try.

I was reading through that plotholes thread and somewhere there it came up that Kogoro always seemed to be conveniently asleep and didn't wake up until after the entire shenanigans were over. Then I had a thought: what if Kogoro was faking sleep? This lead to a series of increasingly more unnerving thoughts that ended up with me suspecting Kogoro as the boss. In the heat of the moment, I went over to this thread and put in my vote.

Then I searched for Kogoro through the thread, and there's too much evidence against him (that whole Black Impact shootout being especially compelling) being a candidate that I became very sad and gave up on the whole endevaor. Unless Kogoro is a death-seeker or incredibly confident in his opponents, has undergone the same intensive training that Gin and Vermouth have exhibited but just on a greater level, seems to want to observe Conan for the sheer heck of it, etc. it's not happening.

That's a lot of assumptions I am not willing to make. But I haven't withdrawn my vote yet – I still hold a few micrograms of hope.

Also, everyone's already made the same point but that number pun thing makes absolutely no sense, both in the actual pun itself and the conclusion it reaches to.

  4. 2.

Anyway, 3 is quite paradoxical so I'll put it out and I'll say 1? I know your favorite word. I forgot it, though.

The lie is 2. My least favorite word...I really don't have one, but apocryphal is a word I don't like. Oh, and regarding 3: "This statement is true" isn't paradoxical at all. The thing about that statement is that it has an arbitrary "truth" value – it can be either true or false and the statement resolves correctly.

    1) I'm a frequent Wikipedia editor, but I don't edit this wiki too often.

    2) I have been described as a brash, harsh, unlikeable person when met in person.

    3) I have been described as a reclusive, shy, and somewhat docile person when met in person.

  5. 3. Tuesday socks. I could make a fortune by making day-labeled socks.

    2. (Nope, I did not just spend 3 minutes in indecision >.<)

Whatever you say. If, by some chance, you did spend some time on this, you may be a bit disappointed to hear that the lie is 1. There were three of my favorite genres in that list: Jazz, classical, and Korean ballad. That is more than I claimed there were, so 1 is the lie.

    1) I do not enjoy eating cheese-containing foods.

    2) "The ends justify the means" is a philosophy that I subscribe to.

    3) The mean of the lengths (in episodes) of all the anime series I have watched is around 12.

  6. Wait... I actually did that? *Rechecks post* Wow, I can't believe I actually did that. See, this is why I shouldn't post when I'm this sleepy. *Yawn* Oh, well. At least I got it right. (How did you NOT turn in something late??? Whelp, I just found my new idol xD)

Why must you make this so hard? Now my brain is filled with reverse psychology and reverse-reverse psychology...

I think it's either 2 or 3, but I'm gonna go with 2 just because you did 3 as the correct answer last time and it sounds more likely (you have a tendency to do unlikely things).

    Very carefully.

It's not supposed to be very hard. I just pick random stuff out of my life and make something up in the time it takes to come up with stuff. I think you're thinking too hard. It was 3 again, btw. But I'll make it a bit harder:

    1) Two of my favorite genres of music are in the following list: Jazz, classical, Korean ballad, Japanese pop.

    2) My favorite and my least favorite anime character are both of the same gender.

    3) My favorite national anthem (to listen to) is the Dutch one.

  7. 3, maybe?

Um... 3? Number two is impossible (at least for human beings that is), and physics is... Okay, that's a wild guess. I don't know you and I've never taken physics. :P

Funny enough, 2 is true. Though if you thought it was impossible, you should've picked it as the lie. :<

    It was 3, btw.

    1) I do not play the violin.

    2) I learned how to speak English by relating the sound of the words to Korean.

    3) I consider myself a poor writer, but a worse speaker.
