History is a huge pain in the ass in my opinion. Never really liked it. The only thing it's helpful for is on the SAT/ACT essay portion, in my opinion. We have A-'s and B-'s, etc. on our grading scales, but it really doesn't matter in the long run since the minus sign doesn't affect overall GPA. I never enjoyed English either, but what I gained from it was worth the suffering.

Math is built on fundamentals--as long as you're familiar with them, math shouldn't be a problem as you progress. Unfortunately for me, I blew off whatever I "learned" on polar and cartesian coordinates, so I'm pretty much screwed when we decide to go over the unit in more detail in the future.

That's around the stuff I did before what I'm doing right now. Currently, we're analyzing Puritan writings and stuff written by authors like Edgar Allan Poe, Henry David Thoreau, Nathaniel Hawthorne, etc. English is one of the tougher subjects for me because an A in the class is a 92.6; anything lower is a B, C, D, etc.

We've had parents complaining to the school district about forcing kids to school in -25 degree weather, but it's obvious that they don't care.

I put a lot of effort into typing formal essays for school--even to the point where I would pull all-nighters. English is one of the tougher classes for me and anything less than what the teacher expects is going to tank my grade.

We got a lot of days off last year because the snow was much heavier than usual. Normally, our school district doesn't issue snow days unless there's at least 6 inches of snow. On some days, they even forced us to go to school in -25 degree conditions. It's awful and unbelievable how stubborn our school district can be sometimes.

I wouldn't say my grammar is that great. After typing something and rereading it a few minutes later, I tend to find a lot of mistakes.

School really takes a toll on you after a while. I'd even give up part of my summer in exchange for a few "do nothing" days.

I have my Thanksgiving break coming up in less than two weeks. Breaks are the only things I'm looking forward to nowadays.
