Concept was okay, but the plot was a convoluted mess and the characters were unmemorable and asinine (the only half-decent character was L, honestly). I’m pretty sure I actually dozed off while watching it at some point.

The only meritable part of the show was the first arc, which was somewhat engaging at least.

I understand that Code Geass will always be one of those “classics” (similar to Death Note, except I personally think that Death Note does not deserve the praise it got), but I’ve lost most of my motivation to watch shows I’m not acquainted with already, regardless of how timeless they may be.

I have a feeling that Code Geass will always be one of those shows that I “plan” to watch but will never get around to watching. As disappointing as that sounds, I really don’t have the time or energy anymore to invest in long-winded shows that have already finished airing, lol. Maybe one day, sheer curiosity will be the catalyst to nudge me to start the first episode, but that probably won’t be anytime soon :/

ahh I still haven’t gotten around to watching Code Geass even though it’s been on my radar for a while now, but Lelouch seems like a chill guy
