    I like this quote a lot more: "It's hard to win an argument with a smart person, but it's damn near impossible to win an argument in the YouTube comments section" ty /r/showerthoughts Original: "It's hard to win an argument with a smart person, but it's damn near impossible to win an argument with a stupid person"

    What's on Your Mind?

    I know the internet can be unpredictable, but I just can't help but wonder what context that video was in when you discovered it, ahahahaha................. (or was it something you stumbled across in the YouTube "recommended" videos?) Geezus, XC's music is so good I'm going to cry. I also heard that the game itself is unparalleled. Heck, I've read that XC can even give FE a run for its money. It's a game I'm definitely considering once I get my hands on a 3DS. Gahh, I'm so out of the loop :c Damn, the choir in that Kid Icarus OST from smash...... sounds like something that'd go well in the Fate series, to be honest, lol really top notch stuff Route 10 was my favorite OST in B/W and hearing it arranged so well in smash is just heaven to my ears wtf Baten Kaitos Origins???? omfg everything is so intense hell, I just saw a squirrel scampering across someone's driveway while listening to this, and it. was. so. dramatic. I haven't had the time to check out every OST from smash, but it's priority now. ty Akazora for showing me the light oh, and I hope you have fun on your Disney trip! Be sure to let me know how it goes, haha -- OMM: currently listening to smash's variation of Route 10 for the nostalgia >puts on headphones lol, that happened to me once after going on a DC binge-fest ;-;

    What's on Your Mind?

    I...I don't know how to react to this. I don't know how she would've reacted either, ahahahaah............ how did you even stumble across this anyway, lol Now that I think about it, the orgo test usually has one of the lowest test averages. It's probably because the orgo unit is the first unit that the teachers here teach in AP Chem. The class itself was easily one of my hardest classes last year and, in my opinion, was almost on-par with Calc BC's difficulty. Thank you for the sentiment though, heh. whoaaaa... I was scrolling through the comments of both trailers and damn. I didn't realize this year's E3 was that bad. The length of that dislike bar on both videos is overwhelming. I'm surprised that the comments and ratings haven't been disabled yet. -- OMM: I don't know why I just thought of it, but I finally got some sheet music for Gaur Plain today. It's so much fun to play and the pad of my pinky finger is now raw after experimenting with a bunch of shifting. Worth it though. So freaking worth it. OMM2: Why is the music for Xenoblade Chronicles so damn good?? I just discovered this mashup of You Will Know Our Names and I'm dying on the inside. Gaur Plain and now this??? will be checking out more of the game's music in the near future

    DRAGON BALL SUPER

    heyheyhey don't hate I just want Sokka back not that I would mind an earthbending sequel......................... nick was being an idiot when they stopped airing Korra for not being a "kid-friendly" show. even worse, Korra was the best show they had airing at the time and they're just milking the DB series at this point what's the point of creating quality content when doing the opposite brings in just as much money

    What's on Your Mind?

    I feel like I'm missing something how does physical pain = psychological problems I've never played the FE series before so I'm not too attached to the characters, haha (my sister was unreasonably obsessed Marth though, for some reason...) Plus I never played Roy back in Melee. I just derped around with Falco, Kirby, and Pikachu, lol yup, I'm taking an orgo class in that summer program I mentioned to you earlier. I know orgo tends to get a bad rep, but I didn't think it was too bad. We touched on the material in AP Chem last year so I'll have to flip back through my notes and refresh myself. I'm not sure why everyone hates it so much. Or maybe I just forgot how miserable I was during the orgo unit... ehh, I'll find out one way or another. I didn't watch this year's E3, and judging by the looks of it, I guess I didn't miss much. -- OMM: another annoying callus on the side my thumb from my tennis racquet it'll blister soon but at least it doesn't hurt as much

    Current Favorite Television Shows?

    I've actually wanted to get into a lot of western shows, but I really hate playing catch up, ahahahahaha..... a lot of my friends have been raving about Grey's Anatomy and I've been feeling so out of the loop ;-;

    What Was the Last Song You Listened To?

    haha, yeah. I didn't pay much heed to her songs at first but Blue Jeans really caught my attention lolololol those songs are freaking hilarious It's really hard for me to take them seriously and I think people are being wayyy too uptight about censorship these days. Like, I could listen to these songs in elementary and middle school and I probably wouldn't have been affected much. It can also be rather hard to make out the words of these songs so it's not like a primary school student would understand them. Heck, I probably listened to a ton of profane songs on the radio when I was younger and I couldn't understand jack. I just thought they were catchy. if something gets mainstream attention, it's considered mainstream--whether you want it to be or not once it's out of the spotlight, it's not mainstream anymore simple as that I'm not sure what you're trying to get at because mainstream = "the principal or dominant course, tendency, or trend" you're over complicating things, but whatever suits your fancy, I suppose. geezus, you really enjoy bashing on mainstream stuff, don't ya, lol ehh, depressing music isn't for me I prefer emotional ones, but only on occasion I enjoy upbeat and nonchalant music a lot more EDIT: this conversation is getting a bit excessive, I'm gonna stop here -- basically what I'm feeling right now, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....................... I love OSTs

    What's on Your Mind?

    lol, if you must know, my hair used to be almost half-way down my torso. The hair stylist chopped off a lot more than I asked for, so now my hair is just a few inches below my shoulders. It's not a big deal though since the whole point of getting a hair cut was so I wouldn't have to deal with long hair over the summer, haha My hair is typically straight. I usually don't have much trouble with it, barring my side fringe on occasion. But whenever that's the case, I'd just clip them up or put my hair in a ponytail and be on my merry way. I HOPE YOU HAD A CRAP TON OF FUN AT THE CONVENTION :DDDDDDDD and I hope you aren't too sore from all that walking, haha and geezus it's 95* at your place? It's been in the 60s-70s around here. Not that I'm complaining or anything....... I WATCHED THE CHAMPIONSHIP AND OMFG THE METROID SPEED RUN WAS BOMB AND THE SUPER MARIO MAKER WAS SO TROLL AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I still have enough willpower left not to click on that Smash link. -- OMM: im free yey

    What Was the Last Song You Listened To?

    as surprising as this may sound, I don't mind songs about drugs, money, fame, etc. (or at least for the most part) there are a ton of elements that factor into whether I like a song or not and admittedly, sometimes some pretty trivial reasons basically any song that is regularly played on the radio or has hit the charts is considered mainstream in my eyes it's really general, but I don't really have specific criteria that determines whether a song is mainstream or not and the bands that you listed seem pretty mainstream The fact that most of their songs regularly hit millions of views just screams mainstream, and so I treat them as such. "They are more of a lesser version of the mainstream, alternative that is" I'd like for you to explain the "alternative that is" part of this sentence. of course, the definition of mainstream differs from person to person, so feel free to disagree; this is just my take on the subject heck, even where we live can affect what we consider as mainstream and what part of my previous response implied that I didn't like She Will Be Loved? It's a decent song "unique style" being the fact that many of M5's songs are in minor keys the background instruments also deserve to be recognized it's a shame they were ditched for the electropop instrumental I couldn't agree more with you on the "lazy writing," not only in instrumentation, but in lyrics as well seriously, wtf are Maps and Sugar? I dunno, Payphone was just too depressing for my taste, lol. late reply is late; sorry, was busy, haha -- Blue Jeans- Lana Del Rey

    Boss of The Black Organization?

    you can thank crazed fan speculations for that If this was the case, I don't see why Vermouth would disguise herself as the boss just for the sake of tracking down Haibara. Not to mention, she also attempted to kill Araide--meaning he (the speculated boss) would have killed her by now for betraying him.

    What Do You Like?

    WATCH IT WE COULD BECOME GREAT FRIENDS AND IT'S THE BEST THING SINCE SLICED BREAD loljk, it's a really good show and I'd be wasting energy trying to advocate it any further because the show lives up to expectations and beyond, no doubt about it. x10

    What's on Your Mind?

    i c an grammer nazi in the making kill it before it lays eggs nah, I'm just pulling your leg ahaha, ohmygosh, I used to stand in front of the A/C all the time back in middle school! it felt amazing during the hotter days and the A/C produced a very discrete, but subtle fragrance that I just couldn't get enough of. ahhh, those were the good ol' days. lol, I also tan pretty easily. I have a really prominent watch tan on my left arm and a lot of my friends have been teasing me about it. heck, even some of my teachers have commented on how tan I've gotten. -- OMM: it was 80* yesterday and 60* today mother nature wat r u doin stahp

    What Was the Last Song You Listened To?

    "Pure crap"? Uhh, while I'll admit that most of them aren't as good nowadays, I still don't think they deserve the label of "pure crap." There are plenty of good songs out there, and seeing as how often you list Counting Stars and other mainstream songs on here, that statement of yours is a bit hypocritical--unless listening to "pure crap" is your thing or whatever. I'm sure you can list plenty of songs that you've come to like in the past year or two. Yeah, I loved the old Maroon 5. Misery, Sunday Morning, and This Love (and probably a ton of others I missed) were a few favorites of mine. I loved how Adam Levine's voice is so distinct and how a lot of his older songs had this unique style to them (could be my bias for background piano though). I'm not a fan of his newer songs that incorporate electropop. One More Night and Animals are probably the only newer songs from him that aren't bad. and I actually didn't like Payphone or Daylight that much, haha. I think my opinion of Maroon 5 is pretty straight forward; not necessarily a love-hate relationship. I just think Maroon 5 took a turn for the worse after Moves Like Jagger. I KNOW RIGHT. American radio stations need to step up their games. -- last song I listened to was GDFR dat sax tho

    What's on Your Mind?

    Oh no, there's no need for any pity! I was directing the comment towards the graduating seniors of our school since they just finished school on Wednesday. Thank you for your kind words though, haha. I heard that the first semester of senior year will be tough because of college apps and stuff, and the only class I'm concerned about at the moment is Physics C. Ah well, I'll deal with my problems as they come along. Steins;Gate is such a well-crafted anime and easily one of my favorites. Nichijou is more of a hit-or-miss, so I'd recommend you try it out before pushing it aside, haha. Kinda reminds me of the time I saw a girl pass out on the tennis court from heat prostration--which was actually a few weeks ago. sometimes I feel that our school's A/C is too strong you're mistaking memories for experiences you won't remember everything you experience, but memories made from experiences that have made impressions on you won't be lost ...and from this logic, you should stay happy -- OMM: I just got back from a state tournament and a lot of people have been commenting on how tan I've gotten. Hooray for weird tan lines.

    What Was the Last Song You Listened To?

    Gosh, I'm not too sure why I dislike country so much. I guess listening to it just makes me feel really out of place. I can sometimes tolerate country, but most of the time you'll find me cringing. Haha, I love listening to foreign songs. The instrument variety and style is a breath of fresh air from what's usually playing on the radio. did you know that Japan has a radio station dedicated to Touhou OSTs -- Been bingeing on Touhou music lately. Haven't listened to them in ages and my ears are in heaven right now.

    Share A Fact About You

    not necessarily, lol maybe voice a few of your interests a bit more, and someone will eventually react to them, haha I recognize your avatar from Homestuck, but I lost interest in the webcomic after page 2000-something I might pick it back up again if time permits

    What Was the Last Song You Listened To?

    don't forget that one song from that one shampoo commercial, lol I detest country, that might be why. 22 and Shake it Off were fine, but everything else seems to allude to some screwy relationship she had. I dislike most songs about relationships, and it doesn't matter what genre they are. The gimmick's old. hell yeah almost forgot how much I loved A Thousand Miles. ya gotta give what the fans want, man--even if it's for the worse and I wouldn't necessarily label her songs as "malicious and hateful," I think passive aggressive would be more fitting. lol, just listen to I Knew You were Trouble, and We are Never Ever Getting Back Together. about the whole mainstream = bad, I'm not a fan of that generalization, but I felt the same way about Maroon 5. I loved the older songs, but the newer songs are subpar at best.

    Read Any Good Books Lately?

    I recently read I'll Give You the Sun, or rather, I got through it. Fantastic prose, but an average storyline. However, the way it was written felt very vernacular. The book can be a bit crude at times, but it still manages to get the point across. It's one of the best books I've read in a while, so I'm pretty mad that I had to speed-read it for a project instead of actually enjoying it at my own pace. I normally dislike reading first-person, but man, this book just blew me away.

    What's on Your Mind?

    psst, I recommend Steins;Gate if you haven't watched it already and if you're into comedy and wtf moments, I suggest Nichijou as well sounds like a senior skip day well spent -- OMM: help.
