A religious person getting offended over someone's personal life style (ex, sexuality), because it is against their religion... this is the same as if a person got offended over someone eating a doughnut because it goes against their diet.

Morals also exist outside of religion. To have a sense of what is right and wrong doesn't mean it came from a religion. Also, as I mentioned in a PM with Mian, not all religions attempt to spread their views. Example, Wiccans don't. But the whole "saving people from a pit of blazing fire" thing is all opinionated. Doesn't mean it is right (or wrong for that matter). It is just opinion/faith on what happens in death. You make sense, but that is just from a perspectiv...

But why does religion have to meant to spread? Isn't that ideal notions? Though I understand what you're saying and I can see it, I disagree with that notion. I will agree that religion was meant to spread an ideal world. But I think that is wrong. I don't need the ten commandments to tell me killing is wrong, therefore, morals exist outside of religions. But I agree, this debate was fun. It is nice to have debates with people who don't get offended and keep it civil.

And I would have to disagree on something: you said diet is more of a personal life choice. I disagree because I think, so is sexuality. And one could argue that a sexuality group in itself is similar to a religion. It is a group of people with the same beliefs on what morals should be, therefore, sexuality groups have the same effect on society as religion.
