"The terrorists thought they would change my aims and stop my ambitions, but nothing changed in my life except this: weakness, fear and hopelessness died. Strength, power and courage were born." — Malala Yousafzai

Yeah, something about the way he puts the emphasis in his words... Can't believe I hadn't realized how amazing he is sooner. I mean, the first time I saw the guy was in The Interview. It wasn't the best first impression, but the fact that he's been reigning on the charts for years should've told me something.

You've really been taking up the reigns of this thread, haven't you? I really think you've dedicated quite a bit in keeping it updated and providing support to whoever pops up, no matter their problem. You're always very mature in handling different situations. Call me sappy, but I sincerely feel that I need to just say thank you. Okay, so my reason for posting (beside being mushy gushy) is just to add this: https://driftingthrough.com/2016/04/29/your-silence-is-deafening-an-open-letter-to-the-target-boycotters/ and this: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/brynn-tannehill/debunking-bathroom-myths_b_8670438.html First link is a little blog article that addresses the bathroom bill, specifically the backlash Target got from people worried for the safety of women and children. Though I can't say I agree with the way the author starts to point fingers at too many things somewhere in the middle, I was pretty happy that this perspective appeared among Wordpress's trending articles.

I had a longstanding relationship against rap, but recently I've warmed up to it. I'm sticking to Eminem though -- don't think I can take on the others just yet...

I've been having a weird craving for curry this past week

I had the same problem, but to a lesser extent since I took it with my brother and short debates between each question settled the rather ambiguous bits better than it would've been if I'd taken it alone. (We generally have aligning views. Diverging points usually led to me going "screw you", but I'm pretty open to persuasion and rebuttal.) Some questions were pretty problematic, but a neutral option would've skewed the results more than choosing an answer you don't necessarily 100% agree with. I doubt the algorithm was complex enough to account for "idk" as an answer to more than a certain number of the questions. And as Akazora, maybe the creators were going for a more psychological insight into things... (though I doubt it)

I have a weird obsession with research, and not the productive kind, either. I probably spend more time watching and reading people talk/write about anime, books, or whatever than I actually do seeing it myself.

Changed my vote to laptop. Not sure why I voted for desktop before... imagine trying to lug that thing around at school.

Dear anonymous, I still don't know your name. I've known you for almost a year now, so... would it be more awkward to wait longer and see if I get lucky or should I just ask you and risk a fatality in our friendship? It'd be a real sucker punch. Cue flashback to all those times I had to go to great lengths to avoid having to say your (still unknown) name. Signed, Idiot

Pygmalion by George Bernard Shaw. I liked that you could hear the actual accents at work in the movie, but Eliza was far less annoying in the play.

Thread revival time! I've actually always been meaning to do the political compass test, so it's cool that it found its way back to me at a time when I'm actually able to go through the whole thing. Results: Left/Right: -4.13 Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.26 So I'm Left-Libertarian, which is what I expected. I know Moho isn't here to plot the points anymore, but I'd be falling in right with the cluster of dots representing the DCW trend.

Whoops - late reply. Nah, I meant I'll be the UK delegation at a Model UN conference (bit careless of me not to specify that, lol). Which is cool, since I've never been the UK before and it's a pretty significant nation. Now I'll have an opportunity to utilize my horrible British accent with a half-justifiable excuse >:'D

Okay, thanks The anime played off of what happened in M3. They simply assumed that Kid knows Conan's identity after the events of M3, but never made any concrete reference.

A word that sounds suspiciously like "BRUH HAHA" and means pretty much the same thing. Define Fair Use
