Sure, here's the quick rundown (I've left very short comments on the ones whose first episodes I've seen):

    3-gatsu no Lion

    Ajin 2nd Season

Bubuki Buranki: Hoshi no Kyojin (same as last season, overall pretty weak but kinda stupidly endearing in its own weird way)

Bungou Stray Dogs 2nd Season (not gonna lie, it's looking better than the first season, hope to see a Noragami-style turnaround)

    ClassicaLoid

    Drifters

    Fune wo Amu

Mahou Shoujo Ikusei Keikaku (mahou shoujos in a battle royale *muffled "I say cry" plays in the distance*)

    Occultic;Nine

WWW.Working!! (good to see Wagnaria make a return, even if it's just a spin-off)

Yuri!!! on Ice (this was actually really good and, uh, nice to look at, no homo... ... ... .. .. . ok full homo, but only for Viktor)

I would have had the second season of Hibike! Euphonium on my list, as I planned on binging the first season right before the fall season started, but school has been busier than I expected and so I never found the time.  To be honest, I'm probably watching more shows than I have the time for, but that's never stopped me before (it has).

Also, this is the first season I'm watching in literally ever where there wasn't at least one multi-cour leftover from the previous season that I was still watching.  Starting off on such a clean slate is certainly a strange feeling...

Yuri!!! on ice, tho. xD I agree, it's actually a really good anime, and soo far has been getting attention like crazy. Despite the Yaoi fanservice, and the fanservice in general, it has a really good story, and the characters are really realisitc. (Well, some. Don't know about those triplets though. They get in my nerves, tbh. :p) I heard it's going to have about 12 episodes. I expect a season 2, with how much attention it's been getting lately.

I'm just here waiting for that 'new project' of Free! to be announced. :P  With how popular it is, my guess is that it's most likely going to be a new season. It should be announced sometime in March, I've heard.

  2. Welcome to Detective Conan World! I have been a Detective Conan fan for about, say three years now. (Almost four maybe.) I first started watching it back in 2014 of Summer. Even though I have lost a bit of interest in Detective Conan, and not as crazy as I was for it back in 2014 to 2015, I still have a huge place for it in my heart, and it's still on the top of my list of 'One of the best animes and mangas I've ever seen.'.

Same here. I'm a bit behind on the manga and the anime series. (Especially the manga. I haven't read it in a while. I think it's almost been like, a year since I've last read it. uwu) I still haven't watched the newest movie "Darkest Nightmare", yet either. Even though how much I want to. (Busy with other things, tbh. Too much anime to watch. Not enough time.)  I'm slowly but surely catching up, though.

Again, welcome! Don't worry, I promise you that we don't bite. ^^; Everyone here is actually really nice and friendly. Hope you fun here and continue to love Detective Conan. I know I do. xD It's awesome. :3

  3. Yuri!!! on ice: Not too big on ice skating, so the scenes where they ice skate is a bit of a chore for me to watch, also has a bit of Yaoi fanservice. Overall though, it's a pretty good anime and has been getting a lot of attention lately. Episode 8 just came out, but I'm still on like episode 5 or so, since I'm watching the English dub. Like Free!, it's pretty much considered the new 'Internet sensation'. I remember when it was first announced, and I saw one of the trailers of it. (The scene from episode 1 where Yuri is in the bathroom stall crying 'cause he lost the finals, and then he gets a surprise from Yurio.)  :P At first, I thought it was a movie, that is until I realized all of the attention it has been getting after a month or so of seeing that trailer.

It's only been like 8 episodes in so far, and the fandom has been expanding like crazy. It's amazing how much attention one sports anime can get. xD

  4. I loved the trailer for what Tokyo will have in store for us come the 2020 Olympic games. Did anyone else stay up late last night to see it during the Closing Ceremony? I'm soo hyped! It was absolutely awesome. I'm a bit upset with myself that I missed the last round for Swimming, since that's one of my most favorite sports to watch during the Olympics, but I'm at least glad I got to see some of both the Women's and Men's swimming sets. The gymnastics were pretty good too, as well as the Track and Field.

Also, this is going to be kinda random, but did anyone else watch the Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney anime that came out not too long ago? I mean, I expected more from it, but it's all right, and is something to watch when I'm really bored, and the cases somewhat keep me interested and entertained. I think they're still making new episodes for it, but I haven't watched it in a long time, so I'm kinda behind in it. vwv

  5. Free! Iwatobi Swim Club & Eternal Summer (I saw a ton of posts about it on pinterest, so I'd thought I'd give it a try. After watching episode one of ES (Yes, I accidentally watched season 2 first, thinking that it was season 1 the entire time. XD) I was hooked. It really makes me feel like putting on a swimsuit and hit the pool for a swim. XD

@Kirsch : You too, huh? I agree with you on how the show is, it is basically just half naked guys swimming, and Haru being obsessed with the water 70% of the time, but it is a really great show and I like series that focuses on strong and really close friendships, and about never giving up on what you love, and I feel like that's the main message in Free! ^^

Love Live! & Love Live Sunshine!

    Detective Conan

    Pokémon XY & Z

Persona The movie (It didn't make much sense to me, and idk about the ending, but it was all right.)

  6. This is a really great opening. I absoluetly loved the references to opening 3, and seeing Ran attending her karate class was something different for an opening. I also really liked the scene were Shinichi and Ran were walking through the city. It adds a very nice touch to the opening and it kinda reminds me of the Desperate Revival arc. Minus the 'Haibara disguising as Conan' part. :P

And upon further inspection, I'm guessing seeing Gin and Vodka up in that tower was sort of like the prologue to having Conan run through the abandoned building in the first place.  Nice little touch there

I didn't really notice this until you just pointed it out. I agree, I like how they put those two scenes together like a story.

I really enjoyed this opening a lot, so I'm hoping they will use at least until the new year starts.

  7. They look like a very cute pop girl group. I watched them sing "Nazo" live, however, they didn't sound in sync much when they were singing some of the lyrics together. So, I'm guessing that they are a new group that just started recently.

However, it sounds okay, and has that modern feel to it. What I'm hoping for for opening 41 is that the opening will be exactly like opening 3, but with the modern art style and animation. I have a feeling that they are just going to re use scenes from past openings for this one since it's a cover, but we haven't gotten any one of those since the remastered episodes a few years back, so maybe not.

  8. Detective Conan

Baka and Test - I watched the first episode of season 2 in English, after a few years of watching episode one in Japanese a long time ago. It's not as funny as it used to be when I first watched season 1 in 2011, but I might give episode 2 a try. I think I didn't really like episode 1 much because it involved going to the beach, and those episodes are usually predictable in comedy anime. And maybe because I haven't been around any other anime besides Detective Conan for a long time. I laughed a little at some of the jokes the characters said, though.

  9. I feel sorry for Conan, Ran, and Haibara. For Conan, while solving cases as a kid is tough enough, keeping secrets from the one you care for the most must be really hard to take in. It also must be really hard for him to see Ran heartbroken that Shinichi isn't around anymore.

I feel sorry for Ran because she hardly ever gets to see or spend time with her childhood friend Shinichi anymore, Even though she isn't aware that Conan is actually Shinichi. When she says that she's glad she gets to spend time with Conan because she reminds him of Shinichi, makes me feel sorry for her. She's been through a lot, but what I like about her is that she's very strong and never gives up.

For Haibara, is because the loss of her sister. That is very hard to take in. Also because she has to keep from being seen because the Black Organization are after her, so she's practically hidden from the public. She must be hurting inside, since she's been through a whole lot throughout the series.

  10. I'm certain it exists, but i'm starting to think I'm going crazy lol

Here are some details I left out:

    • I remember the house being an awkward shape and size and the show mentioned it. I think it was supposed to be a special inherited property and Richard was underwhelmed when he saw it. It sort of looked like a less creepy version of norman bate's house. It had a bunch of land and was in the a woody area.
    • Mostly everyone at the table got a cup of coffee or tea. There was someone at the table that got the wrong drink but was okay with it, but knowing that her drink was poisoned the woman used that as an opportunity to either switch the cups or go in the kitchen to make something new.
    • The more I think of it, I think Richard was called there specifically to figure out which kid was going to kill her. I know there are a couple episodes like this so I may be wrong.
    • When the officers show up after the murder they make sure to question anyone who could have done it (i think maybe even rachel?) individually in an isolated room in the house.
    • I'm also pretty sure that it's a two episode mystery.
    • And the "mother" may be a grandmother
    • The bodies or body under the property had something to do with a marriage.

I can never forget that ending though.. The look on that old woman's face when Conan reveals to her that he knows not only that she was aware of the poison but also knew why she couldn't give up her property because of those bodies.

Could it possibly be Episode 103, "The Farewell Wine Murder" then? If I'm correct, I think there's a few parts which you mentioned that Rachel said something about attending a party and how it's a special property, and how Richard said how if "The check is as big as the drive." Also, in this episode, the house is quite strange looking, and it is surrounded by woods.

  11. Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney

Just got my new 3ds xl as a birthday gift a few days ago, and I decided to give this game a try. I'm glad I did, because as soon as I started playing the first puzzle in the game, I was addicted. I'm really getting into both the Professor Layton series and Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney series. I played a short demo of the new Phoenix Wright game, and it seems pretty good. I like on how you have to solve the cases and present evidence based on your theories, and how they can make it a challenge by giving you little clues. It involves some very critical thinking, which I like about it. However, the series that interests me the most is Professor Layton. I've enjoyed solving puzzles ever since I was small, so I kinda took a liking to it right away. I really love the characters as well, especially Luke. And oh, I'm already halfway through this game. :o Well, this is no surprise considering I was up all night solving a court case in the game. :P

  12. Never watched K, but I've heard mixed things about it.

You do know there's a movie out (K: Missing Kings) that's a sequel to the original series and a second season (K: Return of Kings) that will be airing in October, right?

I wouldn't exactly say it's ending just yet.

It's very good. I didn't think I'd like it at first, but once I finished watching the first episode, I was hooked.

No, I didn't know that. :0 Thanks for letting me know. :) I haven't really looked up more on K besides watching it on Netflix, so I had no idea there's a movie and a second season. I'm glad there's more to it.

Recent anime I watched: Detective Conan (The scarlet series is getting really interesting.)

  13.

It's really good. I started watching it about a month ago. I haven't been watching it much recently due to school life and such, but since summer vacation has started, I'm thinking about watching the rest of the episodes. I'm almost finished watching it. It's going to be sad to see the series end so quickly. I wish an anime this good wasn't soo short. D: I don't watch much anime, but I fell in love with K ever since I first watched episode 1. I love the main characters and the story is very interesting.

  14. In DC, a lot of American FBI agents(Jodie, James... etc) were introduced and I just realised that they all speak perfect Japanese. I don't speak Japanese but it seems like they don't speak Japanese with an accent and people are able to understand them fine. Oh and Vermouth! Isn't she a hollywood star or something? And she speaks Japanese too. So I am assuming that Japanese is an easy language to learn? XD I would love to learn the language. However, the characters are complicated and I don't know if I'd be able to learn to write them. But it'd be nice if someone could teach me some Japanese. I've learned some over the years from DC but only the basic phrases like konichiwa or aligato. I am planning on travelling to Japan sometime during the summer and wonder if someone would teach me some useful phrases? :D

This is mainly because they have been speaking the language for quite some time, that they became fluent in it. Japanese can be considered a simple language to learn, however, to most English speakers, it can take a while to get used to learning the Subjects, Objects, and Verbs, such as the counters and plurals. I've been studying Japanese for a year and a half, so I still have a good few years to go until I'm fluent in it. A good start to learn Japanese is to first learn its pronunciation. I would also recommend listening to Japanese music, and watching a few episodes of Detective Conan without subtitles. After you studied a few vocabulary words and learned its pronunciation, you'll start to pick it up rather quickly. As for learning how to read and write Japanese, well Katakana is a great start for beginners.

  15. On My Mind: I can't wait for May. Breakerz is releasing a new single after two years. It's great to see them active again. I've been waiting for May for a few months now. It's a good thing "WE GO" is going to be featured as the opening for Detective Conan next week, so I can listen to the TV size version. I was hoping it would be, so I'm glad they announced it.  ^_^
