  1. I'm loving "Tari Tari", and I'd also like to recommend two non-current series - "Kimi ni Todoke" and "Sakamichi no Apolon" (aka Kids on the Slope), both of which are high school romances

"Kimi ni Todoke" focuses on Kuronuma Sawako, whose sweet demeanor clashes hard against her dark outward appearance, and Kazehaya Shouta, the boy she meets on the first day of high school. The story is cute, if a little cliche at times, but the art is absolutely gorgeous.

"Sakamichi no Apolon" focuses on a rich boy who grew up studying piano, a delinquent who likes to play drums, and the girl who has to choose between them. Everything revolves around jazz music, and while it's set in an older era, it's hard to tell which one, aside from mention of the Beatles (who obviously didn't play jazz, but their popularity does help to mark time frame). Even though it's set in an older era, the art is clean... and what really hit me on this one was the music

  2. Just because two people appear to be good friends doesn't mean they actually are, or have known each other for a long time... my theory on the events that took place in the special is that certain things turned out to be beneficial to both sides, or they were able to make a trade... although I tend not to read that much into things

  3. I already answered this on Facebook :P, but I'm keeping up with the anime and only reading the US release of the manga. I can't help but be spoiled because of the podcast, and I have a pretty good memory... but by the time the anime catches up, all I remember is usually the "broad strokes", so I see something and think 'oh, yeah, we talked about this part', but don't always remember every detail

  4. gah, I feel like I need to go find a good soap box after scanning this thread

being probably the only Jew on these boards, I could provide you with some more accurate representation of what's actually in the old testament... but I'm so frustrated by the entire thing, that I frankly don't think I could do so without blowing a gasket

suffice it to say that I am post-university and have friends who are still exploring their sexuality... frankly, for a long time I thought I knew where I stood, but as it turns out I'm really rather jealous of them... I don't know if it'll change anything for me, but I wish I knew how to be that bold

  5. No what I meant was instead of embedding an episode instead, use a stream mirror. But if you all decided to remove the watch part you get my vote too just put another link or site (a brother-site would do) on where the fans would like to watch DC.

In all honesty, it's a bad idea to put a direct link, but DCTP does have their own streaming site called "Conan TV"
