  1. Milan was sitting there listening to Amber.

"Is there a way to find out where was each victim shot? I mean, which part of the body. Also, can we find out the exact locations of other murders? Since Lilian Rockwell was shot through the temple, it is hard to imagine that the killer was actually in the crowd. It had to be done from somewhere higher.", he said. Then he turned to Jay: "Sorry to ask but, do you remember the position of the victims body? Possibly after and before she was shot? We may be able to narrow down the number of locations from which the murderer could've done his job if we figure out from which way did the bullet come. Oh and, was there any unusual object on/around the victim? Or anything unusual about the clothes?", he paused for a second. "Other than that, though... Jay, I can't help but think about it... Where did you get all the money from? I can see two possibilities; First, you are just very rich and decided to make a fun trip. Second, some higher-ups actually gave you the money to purposely gather us here hoping that we may actually be able to solve this case. Just a thought, though...", Milan grinned.

  2. After getting into the room, Milan laid down onto the bed to think a bit.

"Wanted to ask Jay a few questions, since she was next to the victim when the murder happened... Oh well, I'll just do it later, when she gets better... Huh, guess I should head down to the cafe to discuss about the case with the others. We may be able to figure out something faster if we work together.", he thought.

"Oh, and it seems that Sera-chan recognized me. Hm, I wonder if she'd mind me calling her like that. Will ask her when I get the chance to..."

He stood up and said: "Abdul, right? And... Warren? Do you two want to join me and the others at the cafe to discuss about the case?"

  3. When it started raining, Milan took his backpack and put it on his head, since he didn't have an umbrella. While going towards the shelter, he lost track of the others.

"Dammit, I should pay more attention...", he sighed.

Looking around, Milan noticed some people gathering at one spot. He curiously hurried there to see what's happening, after which he saw a dead body, and the organizer of the trip covered in blood.

"Plot twist!", he thought, unable to cover a bit of excitement.

When police came, the police officers started asking the individuals. Milan was one of them as well.

    "Your name?", the officer asked.

    "Milan.", he said.

"Where were you around 2:30 PM?"

"I was relaxing on a bench, and eating pizza in the park over there~", Milan pointed to the park. "This is kinda fun!", he thought, getting more excited for being questioned.

"What were you doing on the crime scene?"

"It started raining, so together with a group from an internet community I went towards the shelter, but lost track of them. Then I saw people gathering around, and came to see what's happening."

"That community again...", the officer sighed.

Milan couldn't hold on any more and let out a few short laughs.

"Why are you laughing?", the officer asked him with a suspicious face.

"Well, our community is centered about mysteries. That means that we're all mystery fans, and we've watched and read many cases. I just can't help being a bit excited for participating in a real case on any way."

    "Um, right...", said the officer.

"Well, that didn't leave such a good impression.", Milan smiled.

"Thanks for your cooperation. Please write down your number here, in case we need to contact you."

Milan wrote down his number, and left to the group.

First thing he did, he went to Jay.

"How do you feel?", he asked her with a low voice.

  4. Milan sat on a bench to relax a bit, while enjoying his pizza. Throwing a gaze up in the cloudy sky, he started thinking:

"So far so good. Had a free trip, free food, now I'm relaxing at some park... what else is there to do...", he looked around him. "Girls, huh... why do I always end up thinking about that", Milan thought, making a small grin. "Maybe I'll talk with some... oh wait... c***... I don't even know all the names!", he slapped his forehead with his hand.

  5. Looking at the group while approaching it, Milan saw that some of them were talking, while others were listening to some music or eating. Although, he also saw some dude leaning on the column doing nothing. Since he didn't really want to attract much attention, Milan quietly walked towards that guy. Putting his bag on the floor, he raised his hand for a handshake and asked the guy:

"Greetings. PhiBrainChild here. You must be?"

  6. Name: Milan

    Age: 18

    Description: About 180cm tall (not sure himself); brown eyes; a bit darker tan; neither short nor long, a bit messed up dark brown hair; black sneakers; brown pants; unzipped, brown/cream sweater with withdrawn sleeves; black t-shirt with a white " sign; sleepy look most of the time; black/blue headphones around his neck; black backpack with who-knows-what inside;

    Personality: Easy-going, but cautious within; gets bored often; sarcastic; has his own sense of humor which many perceive as weird; loves to experiment while communicating with people; goes crazy whenever there's anything connected to Japan; known to be late for everything;

After receiving the ticket, Milan's first comment was "Finally something different to happen in this monotone life of mine.". He wanted to pack immediately, but ended up waiting until realizing that he was late. After quickly packing himself, Milan got onto the plain, showing a bit of excitement since he never traveled with a plane.

After arriving at the airport, he wasted some time getting lost, until he saw a girl holding the "DCW Forum" sign. There were a bunch of people next to her, most of them doing something on their own.

"Well, internet community sure stands out when gathered at one place in real life", Milan thought. He put one hand into the pocket, and slowly walked towards the sign holding a bag in the other hand, while looking around followed with a yawn.

(I kinda wrote this in a rush, hoping that I'll make it in time)

  7. I've never read the manga, but I did spend my childhood watchin' Dragon Ball. Later, I continued my tradition with Dragon Ball Z, and Dragon Ball GT as well (even though it isn't canon).

  8. Detective/Mystery:

    - Gosick (has romance as well)

    - Kamisama no Memochou

    - Kindaichi Shounen no Jikenbo

    - Psycho-Pass (has gore)

    - Tantei Gakuen Q

    Game/Adventure:

    - Sword Art Online (has romance as well)

    - Accel World

    - Beet the Vandel Buster (story doesn't actually include any game in it, but the anime itself is made like a game)

    - Btooom! (has gore)

    - Cardfight!! Vanguard

    - Hikaru no GO!

    - Hunter x Hunter (1999) + GI (Greed Island) & GI-Final OVA

  9. It's kinda funny how most things end up misinterpreted, especially between us. Besides, a debate would be wasteful.

It is entertaining for me, though. And I can just imagine people getting some popcorn and drink while watching our 10-lines-long posts.

PS: Since we're getting off-topic here, that would be all from me.

  10. I think "unending" essentially means "repetitive" in this case, not "lacking an ending". Probably the same deal with the same villains over and over; of course ran isn't complaining about the presence of villains, but rather that the villains get stale. And I concur with ran's points, and it's why I dislike Dragon Ball.

By "ending" I wasn't aiming at what you thought I did. I wanted to say that since it has an ending, no more villains are able to appear. And yeah, I dislike Dragon Ball because of it's repetitive plot as well. Too bad I don't have enough inspiration to go into a debate with you Mohorovicic.

  11. Dragon Ball is so unending. <_<

The characters are never gonna die and the villains will always be there.

It seems that you haven't watched Dragon Ball, so why state something like this? In Dragon Ball, most of the characters dies for at least two times, and villains will always be there in any anime. It is just the matter of when will writers/creators cut the circle, and since Dragon Ball is finished, it has an ending.

  12. By using TLDR as my excuse, I'll go and suggest you to learn Japanese through Anime. The reason is because there are two types of Japanese; Formal and Casual. Most of the courses teach you the formal one, while in Anime they use a casual version. Formal is used for business meetings etc., while casual is used in everyday life. Now, to tell you how you can learn it. First, you need to download both RAW and subbed version of the episode that you're planning to watch. Then watch the subbed version. After you're done, while your memory is still fresh, play the RAW version and watch it. Or, if you don't want/can't download both versions, just hide the subtitles (which would actually be a more logical and simpler option). I hope that this will be of some help.

  13. Welcome to DCW's forums, Shinju Gakusha. As the other fellow members have already said, this is a pretty much friendly community (including me?). Anyway, enjoy your stay here, and if you have any questions, or just want to waste some time, feel free to send a message.

  14. Hmm, now that's an interesting question. I would probably go with Fullmetal Alchemist. Now, let's try to explain why.

Firstly, it is finished. The story has an ending, and a really good one. It doesn't have too much episodes, with it no fillers. Pretty deep and dark plot are another plus, as well as the well made characters and bonds between them. And of course, not to mention the good action, plot twists and some funny comedy in between.

Now, you'd say "the other ones has the same". Well, not quite.

Let's start with Naruto. To be honest, I was even thinking of putting this one as the best, since those 220 episodes are really amazing, and I have nothing against them. But, Naruto Shippuden is what's dragging it down. Because it is not finished yet, and was made into a Mexican TV show. After that, comes One Piece. It has great story, great characters, shows what friends are on the best possible way, BUT just has too many episodes. Next, Death Note. I must say that I haven't seen this anime up until the end, from some personal reasons (even though it was a long time ago), since I really got irritated by that obvious advertisement of the Satanism. That aside, I have to say that L is one of the most brilliant characters I've seen, and I've got nothing negative to say about that part. So, we've came to Bleach. First 60 episodes of Bleach will just make you drool for the anime and it's amazing plot and action. Unfortunately, it turns you down to the ground after the 100-episodes-long fillers (not literally of course, but they really are long). And, I seriously got pissed after seeing that they've actually continued the story after finally ending the one with Aizen. And lastly, Detective Conan! What to say about this show, it is really well thought out, amazing, deep and dark plot with hell a lot of twists, awesome characters and cases. Just being able to solve it together with the main character is fantastic. But of course, why finish the plot when you can make 700 episodes and still end up nowhere. That's what I hate about it.

Although in the end, I personally wouldn't be able to pick one anime and say "this one is the best" since every anime that I've watched so far has something unique that made me like/watch it.

Well, that would be a short version of my thoughts on this. And I'm noting, this is my personal opinion, and I'm not saying that I'm right, or trying to make you think so. On the other side, I'm always opened for debates or discussions, so feel free to ask/say anything.

  15. Heeeeeey everybody!!!

OMG!looking up new anime of spring 2013 n i find a case closed movie(#17) coming so if anyone can find a release date for the sub that would be awesome.

    • i also was wonderin if anyone knew a fast way to keep up with the serious i meant seriously 600 or 800 eps n i watch 4 like 2 year with break n got 200 n about a half of a special episode do to lag reasons.
    • one more thing i always wanted a second opinion on this witch is better the english "Only one truth prevails" or the jp sub "There is only one truth" though i like to stick to tradition i like the english dub one better

Firstly, hello and welcome to the DCW Forums.

I don't think that anyone posts a release date for the subtitles of an anime episode/movie. Although, you can find a release date for the movie itself.

There's a way to keep up with the episodes without having to watch them all. You can skip the "TV Original" episodes, since they have no connection to the plot, and the cases can't compare to the original ones. You can find which episodes are "TV Original" here: http://www.detectiveconanworld.com/wiki/Anime

And lastly, I personally prefer the Japanese version of any anime, since it is the original one, and usually the better one. Yes, there are some exceptions, but as for the Detective Conan, I'd suggest you to watch the Japanese version.
