  1. Alright I just started reading the manga and I can already see that this Amuro guy might be Bourbon. That's pretty much just a baseless claim though.

Also I think it's possible he was dressed as Scar Akai earlier, since I agree with the Scar Akai is Bourbon theory.

  2. I would like the ending to happen in Beika City. A chaotic feel to it and Shinichi, Akai, Heiji, FBI, CIA, to join forces and stop the BO. I'm so excited!!!

I have another question guys. How do you think will Conan/Shinichi stop BO without shedding blood?

Yeah as much as I love this topic it's killing me cuz we don't know when the ending will actually be :P

And as to stopping the organization without shedding blood... I really can't say for sure. If Akai and the FBI join the fight they will probably shoot people. As for Conan, He can use his SOCCER BALL OF TRUTH!

  3. Heiji's relationship is more humorous to me. It's funny because out of all the girls who are in a possible romantic relationship Kazuha is the one who has the most trouble hiding her feelings (at least that I can think of). She makes it so clear to pretty much everyone that she loves Heiji.

The flip side is Heiji's obliviousness. It's always funny to watch him miss pretty much every hint that Kazuha could possibly leave for him, but it's alright since we know he likes her too.

So, to answer your question, it's progressing basically like any DC couple's relationship is. The feelings are clearly there but it's nothing but a rollercoaster of awkwardness.

  4. I agree with Chek here. And although it's not a sure-thing I do still see the possibility of Akai being Okiya.

Somoa: All your questions make perfect sense, but in my mind I just don't think Akai bothered to look into the matter any further. Obviously he could tell something was amiss, but how could he figure out any further details without questioning Conan (Assuming Jodie left him in the dark)?

So maybe while Akai is hiding his identity as Okiya he's taking the extra time to figure out just who this genius boy is.

Also, Akai can't reveal himself to Conan since he's under cover, and Conan is taking the extra precaution against Okiya because he's not sure who he is yet.

I don't know if this counts as proof, but I noticed Conan almost trusts Okiya, while Haibara detected his "BO presence" once. Maybe that's because Akai infiltrated the BO once?

Anyways I don't know if Okiya is Akai or not, but I still like to think the possibility is there.

  5. hhhhmmm isn't Akai a left-handed shooter? from all the episodes i've seen he always used his left hand when firing a weapon i think scar akai might be a different person. In the later part of anime episode 564 when Conan was about to be executed by the bank robber scar akai fired at the bank robber saving Conan, the "camera" starts to focus on scar akai he has a pistol in his right hand i know it's a 9mm but i think it should be taken into consideration well that my theory please send me feedbacks

Yeah, that's an interesting observation. Certianly a lot of people doubt the fact that Scar Akai is the real Akai.

Then again playing Devil's Advocate maybe Akai is just trained to use guns in both hands :P

  6. So you are saying that by this time, Haibara already made a permanent antidote of the APTX 4869 for Conan? But for me, it would be much cooler if he beat the org by being Conan. It would be interesting to see Gin's reaction once he encounter Kudo Shinichi in that kind of state.

So you're saying that BO is really a BIG organization? And there is already a thread somewhere here in the forum about whether BO has a 'base' or any 'hideout'. So, it would be a big revelation if ever.

The reason on why I personally think Conan must use a gun in taking down the BO is because all of the 'main' members of BO are trained in using guns. It would be hard to confront them if Conan will only depend on his stun gun, bow tie, and other inventions of Professor Agasa.

    1. I probably should've elaborated a little on that. I meant to say that I do think Conan will be the one to infiltrate the organization (in his child form) but declare to them that he is Shinichi. I also think it's possible that halfway through all the action he could turn back into his older form permanently (somehow) and finish them off as Shinichi.

    2. Well I was more saying IF the BO is a big organization.

    3. Well let's agree to disagree on that one :P I can't really see Conan using a gun outside of a bluff or at least crippling somebody. And I strongly believe he won't purposely kill anybody, but rely mostly on his intellegence as well as his gadgets. And who knows, maybe he'll get some new gadgets by then or some upgrades, like maybe more ammo for his stun watch (since it always seems like he could use more than one  ).

  7. I really don't see Megure as one of the characters that will ever find out Conan's identity, even at the end of the series, along with Mouri who even after Conan leaves him and becomes Shinichi again will always think of himself as a great detective without knowing that Conan solved them all.

...This is all in my opinion.

  8. Yeah that James! Acting TOTALLY suspicious. I haven't read the manga, so I don't know if anymore has happend on that matter. From appearance alone Sera resembles Akai, if I had to guess she would be his sister. She also seemed to know a lot about Conan, and she reacted suspiciously from the mention of the FBI.

Anyways onto your main topic. Yeah, I definitly think James knows something we all don't.

  9. I can't wait for the end, I bet it's gunna be epic XD

I'm guessing Conan will have some epic infiltration mission with some of his allies, and possibly even a lot of main characters dieing in the process (I have a bad feeling Haibara may die in the end, or at least get mortally wounded to some degree but magically survive).

Then later just when Gin is pointing a gun at Haibara or Ran for whatever reason a shadowed force will kick a soccer ball and knock the gun out of his hand.

    Gin: "Who are you?"

    Conan: "Kudo Shinichi, detective"

    Gin: "WHAAAAAAAT?!?"

Yeah well that may or may not happen but it's fun to guess. The main reason why the final battle is so hard to predict is because we don't know who the boss of the BO is :???:

Also as for the fact that the organization may be huge, I think that the boss/Gin will be taken care of by Conan and friends while the FBI and people take out the small fry.

Also, as for Conan taking a gun in hand, it's possible. The only thing I'm 99% sure he won't do is try to kill anybody, even Gin despite all that guy has put him through. That being said, Gin and people still might die from the BO base self destructing. That's another one of my assumptions; near the climax the base will start to self destruct, or a massive fire will break out, cuz... doesn't that always happen?

  10. He's reckless when it comes to BO even though he's only trying to protect him and the others around him.

He's also can be reckless when it comes to cases, he put his life at risk like other detectives while knowing the truth and the criminal coming after him.

But he always has a reason to why he's being like that!

I agree with this. The fact that Shinichi is reckless really contributes a lot to the story for me. To me it just shows that despite his superior intellegence he can't be perfect. Also when people find out his identity, or he gets hurt as a result, the story has no choice but to get more intense.

So yeah, keep it up Shinichi :P

  11. It took me a little bit to think of a reply for this :P

To be honest, Shinichi is a bit reckless in hiding his identity. If he weren't at all then he wouldn't take any risks whatsoever (he would kill off his old identity and even refuse to solve cases if it meant he might be revealed). However, if Shinichi did do that not only would the series be boring, but we would probably not like him as much as a character. I think the proper way to describe him is that he has a strong sense of justice. Meaning he will risk his identity in order to solve a case, or save a life, because that's just the kind of guy he is. Sometimes his actions may seem a bit reckless to us but I don't think he really makes the wrong decision.

  12. Who ever said Sonoko is useless has no idea about anything to do with literature. She isn't useful because Conan uses her for deductions... She is useful because she is a FOIL to Ran. That makes her VERY important.

Well I do use the term useless very loosely. I really didn't expect that to be taken too seriously, Sonoko just kind of bugs me I guess :P
