(oh, no!) It was new and my mom pointedly told me not to lose it! So, I bravely ran amidst rocking desks and chairs just to get it! And get it, I did, and lived to tell that 'heroic' act.

tsk tsk..Me was stupid, yes? But hey, as a kid, I guess I was more prepared to face the tectonic plates than my mother's wrath

Oh, that wasn't the blog that I got the reply from. I just thought I'd tell you that there's another poem with the same title and from the same author. What were you looking for anyway? I might have come across it.
