I absolutely agree with you. But in ALAKTORN's defense, he/she did say "bottom fact is, fansubbing is illegal and it’s up to copyright holders whether or not to press charges". ALAKTORN was just serving the possibility that DCTP can continue distributing the episodes without permission/rights; however, it is not possible to continue distributing the episodes without permission/rights AND GET AWAY WITH IT (which is what you described).

I don't think they were "simply" coworkers. Throughout the manga, Gin has been shown to be bloodthirsty for Shiho, and his lust for her is evident when he imagined Shiho naked (forgot which chapter). Why would Gin have that much desire to find her is they were only acquaintances in the organization? There has to be more between their relationship.

So I do not know what led me to do this, nor why I even did this, but I felt like making a fandub video of DC today. Then I uploaded the UNFINISHED video on youtube on a new channel I made. O.o It's a fandub of the corny scene in London when Shinichi confessed to Ran, BUT I still need a female voice actor for Ran to help finish the scene! The numbers 4869 are play-on words for "Sherlock" (pronounced shi-ha-ro-ku). As for "Apotoxin", the prefix apo- can mean "derivative of", so APTX 4869 is essentially a derivative of an unknown toxin. Or the "apotoxin" be derived from the process known as apoptosis.

I think the wife could've approached Usagi's phobia using a much better method than directly confronting him with his fear. If anything, consulting a psychiatrist would be best form of treatment and would allow Usagi to pace himself without letting him reach his limit too quickly. It's true that Usagi should have put trust into the wife's hands, but the wife should have known the severity of his claustrophobia. He only wanted to escape from his ultimate fear, so in the irrational state of mind, he psyched himself out and killed his wife. So in a way, I am defending the murderer (not because I think what he did was right, but because he was forced to face his claustrophobia too hastily).
