Since you are going through and removing the long vowel "u" and "o" 's from the characters names can you make sure that you replace the elongated vowel with a " ū " and " ō " so that someone doesn't have to go back through every name in the series at a later date to make sure the names are still accurate? Technically taking away those extra "u" and "o" 's makes the spelling incorrect when you don't have the diacritical long mark over the remaining vowel. (EX: Shuuichi vs Shūichi vs Shuichi. The last one is technically wrong.) I've really wanted to go back and fix all of the main characters names that have this problem, but that would break so many links across the wiki. The minor case specific characters don't have that problem though. --Jimmy-kud0-tv2 (talk) 01:41, 19 November 2015 (CET)

I might be able to do it, but I should be able to know which of the character names have long vowels indeed and which don't, as there are many which had "oo" and "uu" that had been already changed to "o" and "u" before I edited them. Besides, there are some which I shouldn't change to avoid some troubles in the whole wiki (biggest example, the Mōri family). I'll try to do it with as many characters as I can, but I don't promise to do it really quickly. Maybe I'll have much more free time to do it in a few weeks as I'll be on holidays.
