Many Chinese websites claimed it's May 18th...while there's also Oct 2nd saying.

Yes,and Ran said both she and Kudo love red.in movie 1, they were celebrating Shinichi's birthday, which has been confirmed to be at the beginning of May
And red is also the lucky color for people like THEM whose bday is in MAY.
So....Ran's bday is in May.

You guys only object my May idea.Gimme ur evidence of WHY Ran's born in OCT.
I've given u my evidence:dialogue in movie 1.
(Search engines r not evidences,they CAN spread one person's mistake to more.)

I've posted the reason why her bday's in May(Movie 1).
And I've searched again,the 18th thing can possibly be made up by fans.
And there're also sayings that claim Ran's bday is on May 10th or 20th.I'll translate the evidences:
In file 483,when Ran wanted to crack the password of Conan's mobile phone,she tried the bday of Kudo,which we all know--May 4th(Japanese children's day),and her bday.
When she typed in numbers,Aoyama Gōshō actually wrote the onomatopoeias in comics:
Kudo's bday:"BI BO BI BA" or "BA BI BO BI"(two orders)
Ran's bday:"BI BU BO BI" or "BI BO BU BI"
In general situation when we use bday for password,the born-year isn't contained,espacially when the password is only 4-number long.
So the first result can possibly be 0504.
So "BI"="0","BO"="5","BA"="4"
Then we can see two Ran's bday:0*50 or 05*0.
Of course nobody's born in 50th day of any month.
So the result can be 0510 or 0520.
I tend to believe this saying now.

You don't have to be born in May to be a Taurus, she could be born in April, I guess Taurus is seen as the sign of May since May starts with Taurus, but Taurus begins in April.
