[Parkur]

“Kuroba-kun, I need a favor.” Hakuba Saguru said looking around almost suspiciously. It wasn’t like him to do something like this, but he had a plan, and since it was Christmas Eve tomorrow, he had a schedule to keep.

“Hakuba? What can I do for you?” Kaito looked around too. “Why are you being so jittery for?”

“I can’t let Akako see me…I’m kind of planning something.” He said softly.

“Hmmm, you’re planning something huh? Wouldn’t happen to be what I think it is would it? A little….proposal perhaps?”

“I need KID to kidnap me.” He said softly.

“I’m not KID, Hakuba, no matter how many times you…”

“Please Kuroba-kun, it’s part of the plan.”

Kaito looked up at him, “So let me get this straight. You want KID to kidnap you as part of your proposal attempt?”

“More or less.”

“Akako would get mad if she knew that you were kidnapped the night before Christmas Eve. Are you absolutely sure?”

“Please, it’s the only way that it’ll work, I have clues around the city at our favorite spots already, it will lead her to the place that I want to be taken to. It’s also one of our favorite places. In exchange, I’ll leave KID alone. Please, do this to keep Akako and I out of your hair?”

“It is a very appealing offer, assuming I’m KID of course.” He said with a smirk. “But if I was, when would you want this kidnapping to take place?”

“As soon as possible, I don’t even care if you do it now. I just need it done before tomorrow. I want to send her on a treasure hunt.” He said softly.

“You’re not going to have the ring on you?”

“Course not!

“Only you would go through this sort of intricate trouble to propose to a girl.”

“Will you do it then?” he asked softly.

“I get assurance that you’ll leave me alone? There’s no “I’m going to make sure that I have you behind bars because I’m all high and mighty,” sort of thing going to happen after I go through with it?”

“What the hell are you saying Kuroba-kun? I just need you to do this, and you’ll get two people who know your identity out of your hair.”

“That’s a fair point…I’ll do it, only because Akako scares me, and no offense or anything, but you do too.” He said grinning.

That is what set the plan into motion, the plan to have the epic proposal happen with a bit of a scavenger hunt for Koizumi Akako to work out.


THE NEXT DAY!

Akako woke up the next day with a note on the pillow next to her, she opened it up and stared at it hoping that she wasn't reading what she saw.

I have Hakuba, if you want to find him you have to go through a bit of a scavenger hunt to find him. The first clue to finding him is going to the place where you went on your first date...well the start of it...you'll find the next clue there.

Akako was scared, someone took Hakuba, and she needed to find out who it was by this....scavenger hunt! Hakuba was her life, her world, and she was not going to lose him to some freaky messed up chance of fate. "I'll find you Saguru." she said to herself as she got dressed, got ready to go out in the snow, and went to the park bench where they met for their first date.

Sure, it was a bench, it was an old bench with initials carved on it with hearts and stuff, sort of like the old tree thing where they would carve their initials in the tree and it'll be there forever to prove their love. That was the bench. Hakuba refused to do such a thing to screw up the bench. He would have just enjoyed it the way it was, a normal wooden bench. Folded up on the trash can so that it was hanging out the opening was another note. Classy.. Akako thought to herself as she picked up the note.

Congratulations Akako, you have figured out the first part. From here, there's going to be a ride for you, it will take you to the restaurant where your first date took off. Lunch is paid for and your table should be waiting for you. Your next clue will be there.

The next thing Akako knew, the same horse and carriage that came to to take them to dinner a year ago...(Akako's fantastic memory confirmed this fact) came up, all white and magnificant. "Everything's paid for might as well take the ride to find Hakuba right?" she said carefully stepping into the carriage being taken to the the little restaurant that their first date had taken place.

The resturant was a small place, but it was very classy for her taste, but it was Hakuba so you knew that he would go all out, especially when he was nervous. The waiter took her to a table that was already reserved for her. "Whoever took Hakuba really thought this out didn't they?" she thought freaking out slightly. "What if he's like dead or something? Was this all for nothing?"

She was pulled out of her thoughts as the exact meal that she had ordered the first time came to her. "Seriously, now this is just creepy..." she said to herself as she began to eat. The chicken was good, almost perfect, just like the first time. "Excuse me, are you Koizumi Akako?"

"Yes..." she said after she swallowed her food. It was inappropriate to talk with your mouth open and all, Saguru would frown at her if she had done that and he was there.

"This has come for you." the random person said as he walked away not letting the girl see the smirk develop on his face as he left. "And you're almost to the end of the road Koizumi-san." as he disappeared.

Akako looked at the note and read it.

There's only one more clue left Koizumi-san, your dearest Saguru is the place where you first consumated your relationship. I'm sure you remember where that is...Congratulations for making it this far without freaking out.

"How does this person know....unless...." Akako's eyes widened, then she laughed. "Oh Saguru, you silly man!" she said smirking. "I should have known."

Akako figured out the intricate plan, as she wasn't dumb, she found out that the detective decided that he would fake a kidnapping. She ran to Hakuba's house, it was the place where they had first kissed, the place where they first made out, and the place where they had taken the final leap of faith and had sex for the first time. Akako knocked on the door, so when nobody answered she was beginning to get scared again. She tried to open the door and when she found the door was open instead of locked her suspicions were confirmed.

"Congratulations Akako, you solved my puzzle." Hakuba Saguru then walked out of a hallway randomly.

"You scared the hell out of me, if I didn't figure out you faked a kidnapping this would have been a far different conversation, if there was going to be a conversation at all, we would probably both be did if this was real."

Saguru looked at her with a smile, "I got the better end of the deal I think, but there was another half of a deal that was reached, we kind of have to leave Kuroba alone...since he was the one who planned the clues."

Akako laughed again, "This was a fun day for the most part when I wasn't thinking that you were going to die, how was I supposed to know that you and Kuroba were working together to get me here?"

"You figured it out in the end though, there was actually a reason I had all of this planned though Akako." he said softly.

Akako smirked, "Figured there was possibly an ulterior motive for all of this so out with i-..."

Hakuba was already on one knee in front of her but the ring wasn't in his hand, it 'miraculously' fell out of the christmas tree. "You have been the person who has kept me somewhat sane the past year, we've been through so many firsts, lasts, and hopefully if you will have me, we can try to make more memories in times to come. Koizumi Akako, will you marry me?"

Akako stared at him, the ring right there in plain sight, it was beautiful and Hakuba went through the trouble to get her here on....

"A christmas eve proposal, how could I say no to that? Especially after all the work you put into it?" she said. "Yes, yes Saguru, I'll marry you." she said as he stood up and put the ring on her finger, pulling her into a kiss.

"I love you Akako."

"I love you too Saguru. I do have a question though..."

"What?"

"How the hell does Kuroba-kun know that the first place we made love was here?"

Erm ... I'm surprised... after visiting this thread again... and see all these outdated war ... I think I'm being misunderstood here . I'm not teaming up with anyone, but what I meant by 'this is disappointing' was that I'm disappointed that... I've always thought that Parkur was in the Shiho x Hakuba league ... to see that he was not... I was shocked , and I felt betrayed . I was waiting for a comeback, but... why didn't you respond, Parkur ! Like you always do with your sarcastic and sadistic comeback ! It was much better than being ignored ...
